I’ve heard it said by a pastor that the Lord’s prayer is too mundane to say in church.  Maybe that’s what’s wrong with most of the church’s today.  The Lord’s Prayer teaches us many things.  Jesus gave us this Prayer in Matthew chapter 6  “This, then, is how you should pray:”

Our Father, which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth,
As it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive them that trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,

The power, and the glory,

For ever and ever.

Amen.
