Mathew 16:2-3  This is Jesus’s words when asked for signs from Heaven:  “When evening comes, you say, It will be fair weather, for the sky is red, and in the morning, Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.  You know how to interpret the appearance of  the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times!”

Yes, we are in the season of Christ’s return.  I hear the same old arguments when I tell some this.  But there have always been wars, earthquakes, pestilence, famines.  Yes that is true.  I am not as eloquent as the scholars or others like Joel Richardson, Hal Lindsey, and others.  I have searched and searched the scriptures for this very topic.  I used to think like the nay-sayers.  I couldn’t resolve world war ll and how it fit into prophecy.  I kept thinking, my God, if you were going to return that would have been the perfect time.  But it wasn’t time.  Jesus said there will be wars and rumors of wars, but don’t worry about this, because these things must happen.  And then there’s Daniel when he said there will be tribulation like the world has never seen nor shall see again.  And I thought wow, what could be worse than wwll.  Well the answer is clear.  For all these prophecies to come about Israel had to be a nation again!  The one prophecy that convinced me, wasn’t the fact that Israel was referenced by the fig tree, or any tree for that matter.  It was Ezekial’s prophecy of the dry bones.  It can be found in Ezekiel chapter 37.  This one chapter, was very eye opening for me, when studied with prayer and guidance from the Holy Spirit.  This is absolutely essential to studying the Bible, ask God for guidance, wisdom and knowledge, and He will send the Holy Spirit to help you study.  You’ll be amazed at what opens up to you.  Anyway, That proved to me that Israel had to be a nation again.

The current state of Israel was created by men, you say.  Well let’s take a look.  God has used men all throughout the Bible to fulfill his purpose.  Look at Nebuchadnezzar, Cyrus,Alexander the Great, even Antiochus.  These were all men, men who did not necessarily know the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, but yet they still rose to power to fulfill God’s purpose.  God is ultimately in control!  Even in our nation.  God is using obama to fulfill his purpose.  Look at the way he is catapaulting the muslim nations into one huge beast!  So God allowed men to create the new state of Israel.   Even the rise of the muslim brotherhood was fortold in the Bible.  In Isaiah 19:4  “God say’s “I will hand the Egyptians over to the power of a cruel master, and a fierce king will rule over them.”

Prophecies are unfolding at a rapid rate, the alignment of the end times battle of Gog and Magog, in Ezekial chapter 38 are forming.  The earth is reeling like a drunkard as fortold, the earthquakes, volcanos, sunspots, etc. are increasing at an alarming rate. Christians are being persecuted like never before!   The Bible refers to these things happening as a woman in childbirth, that birthpains will increase in nature until it’s finished.  Well if you’ve ever been involved in Childbirth, you’ll understand this,  we are experiencing pains 2-3 minutes apart!  We are in the last of the last day’s.  It is my prayer that God will remove the scales from the eyes of the Jew’s and Christians, the return of Mesiah is imminent.  I don’t care how much fun you poke at me, or what names you call me,  I know I sound like the one’s on the street corner with a sign that say’s “Repent the end is near.”  But it is near, and I fear that many are not ready.  Are you?  Please  watch that no one deceives you.  Get to know the Saviour intimately.  Read, read, study and get to know his voice, for the time is coming that even the elect will be deceived if that’s possible.  If I can be of help please leave your question in the comments section.  Don’t wait too long, before you decide, or you’ll be caught unaware, like the coming of a thief in the night.  God Bless, and may the Holy Spirit guide you into understanding and the truth.
