Trials and Tribulation Comes in Many Forms

This is one of the most trying times in history, for the persecution across the world for Christians has surpassed any time in history.  We are not even sure of the exact numbers.  We can’t forget to keep the persecuted Church in our prayers.  And in this country we are facing an economic crises that makes the Great Depression look like good times.

I talk with friends, and read other blogs, and see the suffering and loss that is going on all over.  Job’s are harder and harder to come by, and after the first of the year, they’ll get even harder; as companies begin to close and re-locate.  As the new regulations  and tax increases kick in, it will start shock waves that will just about destroy much of what is left of our infrastructure.  This is not an exageration.   The prices of food, medicine, gas, and even Gold has skyrocketed.  This may sound trivial compared to what other’s are going through in other countries, but it’s very real.  And it’s touching each and every one of us.  If it hasn’t touched you it will soon.

Philippians 4:19

“And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.”

We know that God will supply our needs.  We know that even in the darkest night, he will be there with a solution.  He tells us “Be still and wait on the Lord.”  It’s very hard at times to do that.  When your world is crumbling down around you, it’s very hard to see that.  I’ve read story after story and witnessed 1st hand the miracles that God can do.  I read of one missionary that had no money, no food, and was suppose to provide a dinner for about 4 people.  Crying she prayed, Lord I need a roast, potatoes, and corn.  A couple hours later, a knock on her door found someone with just those items.  Praise God.  I read about a missionary who desperately needed hot water bottles for sick.  And one of the village children said, ask God, he’ll give it to us.  The missionary cried and returned to her tent, knowing that it took 4 months to get supplies from the US, when the next morning there was a box from the US with enough water bottles for all and a few toys for the kids.  Praise God!  He know’s our needs before we ask!

The Power of Prayer!

So, let’s encourage one another with God’s word, we may have to endure Tribulation and hard times, but God is here with us.  He will always send a way out.  Pray like a little child and ask the Father for what you need.  His timing is not our timing.  But He always comes through.

So after we pray for those of us who are losing our lives in the tribulation in other countries.  Give thanks to the Lord for what we have, and please pray for our brother’s and sister’s in this country that are struggling to pay the rent, struggling to feed their families, and struggling for medicine.  We need a miracle Father, Thank you!  You see ask God for a miracle, expect it and never forget to Thank Him for it in advance. We may have to endure suffering, but God’s promises hold true, He will comfort us!   God Be with each and every one!  If you need prayer, leave your request in the comments or email at cj@ianaotgoc.com and I will join you in prayer.  We must band together!
