A New Years Eve fireworks display in the Ivory Coast city of Abidjan turned to tragedy early Tuesday. More than 60 children were crushed to death in a stampede, according to state media reports quoted in CNN.The victims ranged in age from eight to 15, the official AIP news agency said. They were mostly from Abidjan, which is the countrys largest city and its former capital.
