“Something recently happened to me that made me realize how easy it is to fall prey to the new age teachings, and false prophets.  I have noticed that they have gotten so much better, at peppering their teachings with scripture that it is almost impossible to tell at first that you are being deceived.  I was just totally shocked, as I followed a certain person and their teachings.  It seemed so harmless, and they used humor to make their point.  I was taken and I’m not easily taken.  I take everything to God, for discernment, but this totally fooled me. Until I really listened, and it sent every warning signal in my soul off at once.  It reminded me of what Jesus said in Mathew 24:24  “For false christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect–if that were possible.”  It really showed me how confusing it will be in the end, and how important it is for us to dig into the scriptures and learn the voice of God.  Jesus also said “My sheep will know my voice.”  It really showed me that we have to be on our toes, don’t take off the armor even for a second, or Satan will pierce you with his poisonous arrow’s of deceit.  I have always said don’t take anyone’s opinion on anything, search the scriptures for yourself.  The Bible say’s in the end times people will have visions and dreams.  I know this is true.  But be careful what you follow.  If someone say’s I had a vision and we’re suppose to believe this, or that, if it doesn’t match up to scripture, throw it away.  This even includes a church.  Here are a few signs of new age teachings that should be avoided at all cost.”

1. There are many path’s to Heaven.

2.  All religions, even Christianity is bad.

3.  We were all spirits in Heaven before we were born, and you can remember this.

4.  There is no hell, we don’t have to fear God, My God wouldn’t condemn people to torment.

5.  You can’t know if your going to Heaven, only God know’s

6.  It’s ok to worship with someone who believes in a different god.

7.  Jesus was just a prophet

8.  If we live our lives in a good way, and do good we will go to Heaven

“These are just a few of the new age teachings, there are many, but these are the major ones.  Be very careful of any of these teachings.  And they can make them sound so good, even backing up with scriptures.  But be very careful, Jesus has warned us about this, and Paul also warned us of this in Galatians 1:8 ‘But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned!’  And again in 2Corinthians 11:14 ‘And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. 15. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness.  Their end will be what their actions deserve.’  There are many masquerading today.  So get up close and personal with the Bible, and always check what you hear with scripture.  Time is short, and we need to know the truth, because it’s going to get real confusing.  Satan is a master of deceit.  And he knows he only has a short time left.

I leave you with Revelation 22:12-15 ‘Behold I am coming soon!  My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done.  I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.  Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city.  Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehoods.’
