There’s A Storm Coming

“I want to do something a little different this morning.  I have been pouring over the news, from the State of the Union Address to the war in Syria, the uprisings in Egypt, the tensions between China, and Japan, China is even growing tired of North Korea, and the UN is trying to figure out how to respond.  The recent mass killings and the manhunt for a shooter.  There have been 2 murders in the East of our Country of 2 Christian men from New Jersey, they were beheaded and their hands cut off.  Things are happening very, very fast.  It seems as if I’m watching a movie and it’s rolling across a screen.  Only this time instead of sitting on the couch watching and screaming, no, no don’t do that, can’t you see what’s going on,  to the characters,  I’m in the characters position and I’m very confused wondering what or which way to turn.  So many things are happening, the Pope resigned and it caused quite the stir because of a prophecy by St. Malachy.  Lies are being propagated and told in the media, and our government. Our government is going wild, rumors of wars abound and our military is roaring in our streets in preparation, preparation for what?  The weather has gone completely crazy.  Volcanos are coming to life like never before.  We have almost constant shaking of the earth with earthquakes.  Their are predictions of major cataclysmic changes coming to the earth and the sun.  There is a major storm coming on the horizon, and I feel a sense of urgency like never before.  I guess what I want to do is to caution everyone, with the confusion increasing, and events unfolding so fast, we can barely keep up, pray, pray like never before.  Pray for discernment, pray for knowledge, wisdom and guidance.  Cling to the word of God.  We have certain promises in the word of God.  In the Book of John Jesus spends a great deal of time comforting the disciples and praying for all believers.  He say’s ‘Let not your hearts be troubled.  Trust in God, trust also in me.  In my father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you.  I am going there to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.  You know the way to the place where I am going.’ He also say’s ‘I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.’

What a blessed promise.  I find great comfort in those words.  As He prays for His disciples and all believers His main prayer for believers is that we come together as one like He and the Father.  This was the last teaching and prayer of Jesus before He died.  I think this is very important.  So let’s comfort one another, and above all come together as He expected His Church to and encourage, one another, help each other, and pray for one another.  As things speed up, it’s more important than ever, that we prepare our Spirits, and minds, and hearts to meet our Bridegroom.  He’s Coming He’s Close, Can you feel Him?

So this is my prayer for Christians everywhere today.  Father we first thank you for the blessings you have given us.  We find ourselves in a time of great confusion, trial and tribulation.  Many of our Brother’s and Sister’s are being killed because of their Faith in you, send supernatural strength and courage for them.  Send your mighty angels to their side.  Send your Holy Spirit to them for comfort, show yourself to them and their persecutors.  Help Christians everywhere to come together in your name Father, help them to see and understand what is taking place.  Father give us all great courage, strength and knowledge, so that we may help others and bring them to your love.  Grant us comfort and peace, help us to nurture your promises and love and snatch others from the fire.  Thank you.  In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.  Maranatha.images-34.jpg
