Rebuilding the Ottoman Empire is the dream spoken of by Daniel the prophet. Its utter destruction will be the Second Passover
While Israel observes the old Passover, I am reminded of the words of Micah, the prophet who promised another—new, coming soon—Passover. Let’s keep in mind, Passover is not just about history; it’s about Israel’s destiny.
While Jews read excerpts from the Bible about how G-d delivered them out of bondage in Egypt, perhaps they could include the words of Micah the prophet:
“Just as in the days of the exodus from Egypt, I will show you wonders”(Micah 7:15)
As one Jewish friend wrote,
“The redemption from Egypt was a one-time event; it was a “sampling” of redemption for the future.”
True indeed.
Let us remember, there are two Passovers, one in ancient Egypt at the time of Moses, and another is a future redemption from the hands of the Turks. I have been talking about Turkey luring Israel for two decades and now you are seeing with your very own eyes, the Turks exhibiting their best trait – deception.
Every Jew this Passover needs to think about what just happened.
Netanyahu apologized to Erdogan, the ‘Sultan’ of Turkey and soon Erdogan will demand more – that Israel make peace and apologize to Gaza and others. Instead of Israel asking the Turks to apologize to Armenia, the world has turned upside down, calling good “evil” and evil “good” as it asks Israel to apologize for killing terrorists.
The dealings between Israel, Turkey and Egypt to make a peace treaty will end in total failure.
Jews who observe Passover need to tie the verse in Micah 7 with Isaiah, Israel’s greatest prophet. Just look at what Isaiah said regarding this “redemption” in Micah 7:
“Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves …Your covenant with death will be annulled, And your agreement with Sheol will not stand; When theoverflowing scourge passes through, Then you will be trampled down by it.” (Isaiah 28:15,18)
“…the overflowing scourge shall pass through…” and the “covenant with death” is all quite clear. Israel will make a peace deal in Egypt which Isaiah calls, “a covenant with death” and while God will make it null and void, this deal to perhaps reconfirm the Camp David Accords will be painful for Israel:
“Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin. That walk to go down into Egypt, and have not asked at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt!” (Isaiah 30:1-2)
From the moment when the Turks twist Israel’s arm to have peace in Egypt, Daniel the prophet asks us to begin to count three years and a half, then the Turks will enter the old city of Jerusalem and trample it, but soon after that, the G-d of Israel will rescue it from this scourge (Second Passover).
The leaders in Turkey have a big plan, by peace and flattery, they will deceive the entire region, especially Israel.
Tulin Daloglu, a columnist for Al-Monitor’s Turkey Pulse, who as written for The New York Times and others made it clear, in an article that featured the words of Turkey’s Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, that his country has a big plan – to rebuild the Turkish Ottoman Empire:
“But, let’s not linger on that point and get lost in the conversation. After all, Davutoglu is wondering why people use an accusatory rhetoric, as if his policy suggestions mean to suggest the refurbishment of Ottoman era.”
She adds…
Here is why in his own words: “Last century was only a parenthesis for us. We will close that parenthesis. We will do so without going to war,or calling anyone an enemy, without being disrespectful to any border, we will again tie Sarajevo to Damascus, Benghazi to Erzurum to Batumi. This is the core of our power,” he said. “These may look like all different countries to you, but Yemen and Skopje were part of the same country 110 years ago, or Erzurum and Benghazi. When we say this, they call it‘new Ottomanism.’ The ones who united the whole Europe don’t become new Romans, but the ones who unite the Middle East geography are called as new Ottomanists. It’s an honor to be reminded with the names of Ottomans, Seljuks, Artuklu or Eyyubi, but we have never or will ever have our eye on anyone’s land based on a historic background.”
On March 4, Davutoglu continued with his remarks: “The people who lived together throughout the history in this region were torn apart from each other in the last century; they grew distant from each other. Turkey was the central country at the time when borders were diminished, geography was divided, and economic spheres were separated. As if these are not enough, a new seed of division started to be planted in our country.”
Rebuilding the Ottoman Empire is the dream spoken of by Daniel the prophet. Its utter destruction will be the Second Passover.

Thank you, for the link, I’d like to re-blog it if it’s ok with you. I have always thought this was fulfilled, as you laid out in your post. There are many who believe that Turkey will rise to re-birth the ottoman empire. I know that the Anti-christ will appear from this region, and it’s already in formation. Turkey is pushing now, for peace with Israel, and some in Turkey are pushing for the re-building of the Jewish Temple. I don’t know how all this will play out, I just know that it bears watching. I have long thought that the beast kingdom would be a conglomerate mess, with the west and east mixing democracy with religion, as in Daniel’s statue where the feet are iron mixed with clay. And with the Arab Spring and other developments it seems this is more true than not. Thanks again, for your insight. Let me know, if it’s ok for me to re-blog your post, I’d love to. God bless.
