A shocking discussion caught on NY 1′s “The Call” news show Tuesday is beginning to go viral, as a caller that claimed to be Muslim and named ‘Chris’ stated that Sharia law should be implemented in the United States and gays should be beheaded. The man allegedly from Willowbrook, New York was able to get through to the air on a segment regarding the Supreme Court hearings last week involving same-sex marriage. After acknowledging that his opinion is something the host would likely not agree with, the caller said he believes in Sharia law “110 percent” and it is something that needs to be implemented in the United States.
“You know what happens in Saudi Arabia and other Islamic countries to the gay people, correct?” the caller asked, going on to answer that they are beheaded and that is something the caller believes in.
“I’m going to fight as hard as I can with all of my brothers and sisters to make Sharia law in the United States,” the caller said.
When the host calmly responded that beheading someone over their sexual orientation is extreme and un-American, “Chris” accused the host of being “anti-Muslims.” Listen to the unbelievable exchange below:
The State Department reported that in 2007 over 30 confirmed or believed to be homosexual men were arrested in Saudi Arabia, and two lashed 7,000 times each for engaging in sexual intercourse with other men. In 2011 three men were executed by hanging in Iran after being found guilty of charges related to homosexuality
Jonathan Brown, an Assistant Professor of Arabic and Islamic Studies at the University of Washington in Seattle, writes in Patheos that while a group of liberal Muslims in the West argue that homosexuality is in fact allowed in the Sharia, almost all traditional Muslim scholars reject this argument.
Certainly, Islamic law censures sexual activity other than intercourse (making-out, oral sex etc.,) as obscene, but it is not considered fornication and is not subject to its severe punishments: either 100 lashes (for the unmarried) or stoning to death (for adulterers). In light of the Shariah, then, homosexual activity like oral sex or kissing would be classified as obscene.
Muslim legal scholars concluded that the punishment for anal sex between men be the same as fornication/vaginal penetration – death -, although some jurists felt that if it is the first time a person commits this act the judge could determine a lesser punishment. Muslim scholars arrived at this ruling based on the Quranic story of the people of Lot (the Biblical story of Sodom and Gomorrah), whom the Quran describes as engaging in homosexuality, but more specifically on rulings by Muhammad (called Hadith) and on the basis of analogy to heterosexual fornication.
Homosexuality is punishable by death in the Muslim-majority countries of Sudan, Mauritania, Saudi Arabia, Yemen and Iran.

Btw,to Chris- you damn right we are anti-muslim,and also you are anti-christ too.I’m not for beheading but for a spiritual treatment ,reading Bible,praying,fasting,etc. because being gay is a SPIRITUAL problem.We should save souls,not pacify their perversion or behead them for there would be blood on our hands.

I’ve been interacting with a lot of gays and they’d take time to explain them how there is no scientific proof anyone is BORN gay and i’d show them videos about people who once WERE gays but repented and turned to Lord.They’d call me all names possible,tell me i’m not a worthy and decent human being,just because i want them free in Lord.What an ignorant bufoons they are.

I know, I run into the same thing. I’ve always held to the rule, but for the grace of God there go I, but in this case, it breaks my heart, that they think we just want to hurt them, if they only knew or would realize that we love them and don’t want them to suffer judgement. I’ll keep praying. The New Age teachings have really hurt, and hurt deep. It’s caused great divisions, but I think Satan had that in mind all along. Keep telling the truth, I find myself saying this a lot lately: Jesus said, ‘Remember they hated me first.’
