Yesterday, we posted a photo of Abdul Rahman Ali Issa Al-Salimi Al-Harbi, a Saudi national who was a ‘person of interest’ in the Boston marathon bombings. In that photo, Al-Harbi doesn’t appear to be the least bit concerned about his fate.

Now we have another photo (h/t DW) of Alharbi at the hospital, smiling while standing next to what appears to be a Saudi diplomat:

We already know that the Alharbi clan has several members in Al-Qaeda. The fact that this kid is being deported on ‘national security grounds’ according to Steve Emerson should raise bold red flags. Meanwhile, Alharbi is being elevated by the Saudis.

Think about what kind of message this sends to other Saudis both in Saudi Arabia and in the U.S.

A Saudi national in the U.S., who belongs to a clan with deep ties to al-Qaeda is rewarded with photo ops with Saudi officials.
