Liberation Theology & Pope Francis Are They Connected?

pope_2540649b

I have been very careful to watch and pray with the new Pope.  I found him to be humble just like the rest of the world.  But I have to tell you some recent events have had me listening to warning bells.  I am not going to get into the debates on Catholicism.  I don’t want to go there.  But what I do want to show you is what the Jesuits believe, and their Liberation Theology.  Liberation Theology got it’s start in the Catholic Church, and it actually started in Latin America.  Pope John Paul ll made a trip during his papacy to caution the Jesuits about their Liberation Theology.  He did not condone this.  You can read about it below.  Notice the first name on Major Figures of Social Christianity (Liberation Theology) below.  It’s Francis of Assisi.  This Pope took the name of Francis for a reason.  I think we need to be very careful about believing any of this.  His homilies are beginning to sound like obama’s speech writers wrote them.  Remember obama is a socialist (his words not mine) and he believes in re-distribution of wealth, just as the Jesuits do.  He attended a church for 20 years that taught Black Liberation Theology.  This is looking more and more like John’s warnings in Revelation.  This is the beginning of the One World Order, what they would like to be the One World Church.  I’m just saying educate yourself, and test everything with the scriptures.  It’s going to get very confusing.  Read through the information below, pray about it, and search for yourself.  God Bless.

Liberation theology, is a political movement in Catholic theology which interprets the teachings of Jesus Christ in relation to a liberation from unjust economic, political, or social conditions. It has been described by proponents as “an interpretation of Christian faith through the poor’s  suffering, their struggle and hope, and a critique of society and the Catholic faith and Christianity through the eyes of the poor”, and by detractors as Christianized Marxism.

(Wiki-Pedia) Pope John Paul II, who was present and very influential at the Vatican II (1962–65), affirmed the teachings of that Council and did much to implement them. Nevertheless, his critics often wished that he would embrace the so-called “progressive” agenda that some hoped would evolve as a result of the Council. In fact, the Council did not advocate “progressive” changes in these areas; for example, they still condemned abortion as an unspeakable crime. Pope John Paul II continued to declare that contraception, abortion, and homosexual acts were gravely sinful, and, with Joseph Ratzinger (future Pope Benedict XVI), opposed Liberation theology

  1. I suppose there would be no end to our reading if we want to stay in a world God has called us out of and learn of mans way through his (Denominations).People don’t even question when someone asks them what faith are you?
There’s only one answer “NOT MANY”answers:There is NOT the word denomination in the entire bible!!!(catholic-lutheran-baptist and on & on)there’s a reason for this & it’s found in Ephesians 4 V 4-6.
There is ONE body, and ONE SPIRIT,even as ye are called in ONE hope of your calling;ONE LORD,ONE FAITH,ONE BAPTISM,one God and father of all,who is above all,and through all,and in you all.
    1.)One Lord=Jesus Christ
2.)One Faith=Faith in the truth found in the knowledge of the person of Christ
3.)One Baptism=The baptism of the Holy Spirit
“DENOMINATION CAUSES DIVISION”!We are warned of that division that deceives the heart of the simple.(Romans 16 V 17,18)”When it’s written the truth will set you free…..”It does just that,SET’S US FREE” from the knowledge of man and we become a new creation through the knowledge only found in Christ! We are no longer of this world and it’s deception through religions(worlds faith’s).
This is why we are told not to go after “other gods” or the “gods of the people” which are round about you.(Deuteronomy 6 V 13,14).God Bless all who come to the knowledge of the truth!

    • Julia,do you remember when Paul writes about christians being baptized by many different ministers? And that caused division among them? And Paul said there is one baptism.I believe that’s when denominations/divisions started.

      • WHOA Ann…I never saw it that way……But it makes so much sense it probably started then!,since man has invented the word denomination and has many names for it as I stated earlier!
In Jesus own word’s he tells us he has brought division to the
earth through his Holy Spirit.(Luke 12 V 49-53)and further proof is found in (John 7 V 39-43).Even in Exodus God himself tell’s Moses to go to Pharoah and let his people go or he will send swarms of flies & will put a division between the people so they may know he is the Lord in the midst of the earth.(Exodus 8 V 19-23).God Bless You.
