As I read over the news especially the news about the Arab spring, and the war in Syria, I keep seeing the same words over and over.  And that is the fact that the powers that be are pushing all of this as a push for democracy.  Obama and Clinton especially hit this hard in their speeches to the American public to justify the removal of Gadaffi and Mubarak, and now in Syria with Assad.  We heard over and over how tyrannical they were not allowing democracy to flourish and the people had a right to this.  And then we hear over and over how much better they are.  Really?  Both of those countries have slid so far into tyranny and unrest it’s mind boggling.  Both countries have increased their attacks on Christians dramatically.  Just look at the news.  Now Syria, the attacks and cleansing of Syria, of Christians has seen a big increase .  Along with Pakistan, Afghanistan and other’s.  And the world ignores this.  I hear some say, oh it’s a regional civil war, or other just as silly remarks like they have been killing each other since time began.  This is a gathering of all people’s for an end time government.  This was prophesied in Daniel.  Daniel gave us a very clear picture of what this will be like and we are seeing it right now.  The mixing of shiite and sunni, and Christians will not work.  Even Saudi Arabia has ordered the destruction of churches.  And that’s not even considering the atrocities in Iran.  Here is what Daniel had to say, I think you will be surprised at how fast this is coming together.

Daniel 2

• And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes part of potters clay and part of iron, the Kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.
• And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.
• And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men:  but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.
• And in the days of these kings, shall the God of heaven set up a kindgom, which shall never be destroyed:  and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
• forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay the silver and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter; and the dream certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

When I read this and started earnestly studying about Christ’s return, it was very difficult to understand, until time went on, and God opened my eyes.  Most agree that the iron is roman or western influence.  The Roman empire itself was broken and destroyed.  But it’s influence remained in the form of democracy.  The clay represents a peoples, or religious system.  When you mix these two it doesn’t work, the Arab spring, and the syrian war, and the total unrest in the Middle East is proof of that.  We are living in the end times.  The book of Daniel is opening, just as the angel said to him.  ‘Seal up the words Daniel until the time of the end.’  We are very close, open your eyes and look up for our redemption is drawing near.
