“The Letter”
Dear Friend;
How are you? I had to send you this letter to tell you I love and care about you.I saw you yesterday talking with your friends.I waited hoping you would talk to me also.As night drew near,I gave you a sunset to close your day.I waited.You never came.Oh it hurt,but I still love you.I saw you fall asleep and longing to touch your brow,I spilled moonlight upon your face.Again I waited,wanting to rush down to talk.I have so many gifts for you.
You woke late and rushed off,you looked so sad,so alone.My tears were in the rain.My heart aches,because I understand.My friends let me down and hurt me too,but I love you.I tried to tell you in quiet green grass;I whisper it in shimmering trees,breathe it in the fragrant flowers,shout it in mountain streams,and clothe you in warm sunshine.
