God VS gods 
God standeth in the congregation of the mighty;he judgeth among the gods.(Psalm 82:1).
Notice the capital G (God)here for the God who judgeth among the small g(gods) Plural which are the gods of the people that we are told NOT to serve the gods of the people which are round about us.
”Thou shalt fear the Lord thy God,and serve him,and shalt swear by his name.Ye shall not go after other gods,of the gods of the people which are round about you;(For the Lord thy God is a jealous God among you)lest the anger of the Lord thy God be kindled against thee,and destroy thee from off the face of the earth”.(Deuteronomy 6:13-15).
Years back the Comedian Flip Wilson had a character who would say:The devil made me do it………… Even JESUS KNEW the devil is real and has the unbeliever in bondage to his sin and it’s NOT FUNNY when a soul is in jeopardy of Eternal Hell.The world feels as long as they make fun of the devil he has no power and stays as a Fictional Character!
Jesus often said he was not of this world! “Then Jesus said unto the chief priests,and captains of the temple,and the elders,which were come to him,Be ye come out,as against a thief,with swords and staves?
When I was daily with you in the temple,ye stretched forth no hands against me:BUT THIS IS YOUR HOUR,AND THE POWER OF DARKNESS”.(Luke 22:52,53).
This DARKNESS is “STILL IN THE EARTH TODAY! Jesus did not take it with him.It is the same satan that entered Judas that betrayed Jesus.”Then entered satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot,being of the number of the twelve”(Luke 22:3).
“Finally,my brethren,be strong in the Lord,and in the power of his might.Put on the whole armour of God,that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we WRESTLE NOT AGAINST FLESH AND BLOOD,but against principalities,against powers,AGAINST THE RULERS OF THE DARKNESS OF THIS WORLD,against spiritual wickedness in high places.Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God,that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day,and having done all,to stand.
Stand therefore,having your loins girt about with truth,and having on the breastplate of righteousness;And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;Above all,taking the shield of faith,wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
And take the helmet of salvation,and the sword of the Spirit,which is the word of God”(Ephesians 6:10-17).
“The people that walked in darkness have seen a GREAT LIGHT:they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death,upon them hath the LIGHT SHINED”(Isaiah 9:2)—(Isaiah 9:6-8)!
“But if our gospel be hid,it is hid to them that are lost:In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not,lest THE LIGHT of the glorious gospel of Christ,who is the image of God,should shine unto them”.
(2 Corinthians 4:3,4).

Thank you Julia for the great article. This is actually what the sermon was about in our church today. God vs. idols/demons… with a message not to put anything before God. People worship everything but God. Money, fashion, expensive things, social status, etc. etc. are gods of this world (sadly) Love is overrated in their books.
As The Holy Bible says in Matthew 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness…”

Bella………..What a beautiful sight this morning to get your comment!This is the second time the Holy Spirit has made intercession on your behalf.You wrote about getting words very strongly and look up their meaning,which God had done the same with me………Then I have to tell you yesterdays post was not the one I was going to put up,but as I went to the computer it was so strong in me NOT to post what I was going to and yesterdays had to be posted for someone,and I see it was you!!!! God’s Holy Spirit is the best direction for our lives and people miss that still small voice! I was so Happy to hear your message yesterday,from a pastor it seems that is getting the precious word of God out! God Bless You My Friend and your pastor as well.

Thank you Julia! Holy Spirit is working very strongly in my life right now. This weekend has been so unexpectedly charged with spirit, which is great, but I was also attacked by enemy 3 times last night (just after I wished everyone here a peaceful night) I also know why I am being attacked. Is there any way I can share this with you in private (email)?

It was no surprise to read you were attacked after doing good,this is so like satan…………….He thinks he still has power over the life of a believer such as yourself…………………In fact my Dear if I had’nt heard you were under attack after doing good I would of
wondered…………I can’t stress enough for you to be on guard for his ignorance…….which we all followed til we gave our LIFE TO CHRIST! That makes for a whole new set of rules that NOW you have the Power of the Blood of Christ to cover! God Bless You My Friend.

gods are demons, and for the love of God i cannot understand why people ever referred to them as gods when they are wicked spirits.I read in book of Gilgamesh (one of ancient “gods”) that he made a rule that every newlywed women would first have to sleep with him and then with her husband…wicked!!

Ann……….I know nothing about gilgamesh,but I believe you with what a newly married woman would have to do…. it sounds so evil & wicked so that would be the devil.That’s why we are to serve the God that made the world & everything in it……..”That the wicked is reserved to the day of destruction?they shall be brought forth to the day of wrath”(Job 21:30),”The Lord hath made all things for himself:yea,even the wicked for the day of evil”.(Proverbs 16:4).Ann remember the post here awhile ago 23 Minutes in Hell by Author Bill Weise….He said there are people just falling into hell everyday.God brought you Ann through all he did with satanism so you can now shine your light on the truth of hid word………It boggles the mind some of the things we go through before saved,but it’s important so we don’t forget what God saved us from.
