“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge:but fools despise wisdom and instruction”.(Proverbs 1:7).
We are told to have fear and reverence of God,yet many live daily in fear of other people or of an unforeseen tragedy that may not ever materialize.
“The Lord is my light,and my salvation;whom shall I fear?the Lord is the strength of my life;of whom shall I be afraid?”.(Psalm 27:1).
When man rises as though there is no power above his actions it’s important to keep in mind,”We are to fear not them which kill the body,but are not able to kill the soul:but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell”.(Matthew 10:28).Man’s power cannot be compared to the infinate power of God!
“The Angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him,and delivereth them.O fear the Lord,ye his saints:for there is no want to them that fear him”(Psalms 34:7,9).
We are well protected under the shadow of our Father’s wings…………
“Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved,let us have grace,whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and Godly fear:For our God is a consuming fire”.(Hebrews 12:28,29).
