To those whose heart is set on serving the Lord,we know he is our shelter!

“God is our refuge and strength,a very present help in trouble.Therefore will not we fear,though the earth be removed,and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;though the waters thereof roar and be troubled,though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah”.(Psalm 46:1-3).

When the storms of our life seem to overwhelm us,we know that our God in not far from us and is a true shelter………

“For thou hast been a strength to the poor,a strength to the needy in his distress,a refuge from the storm,a shadow from the heat,when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against a wall.Thou shalt bring down the noise of strangers,as the heat in a dry place;even the heat with the shadow of a cloud:the branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low”.(Isaiah 25:4,5).

We read that in weakness we are made strong,for it is the Lord that becomes our strength when we completely rely on and rest in him!

“And he said unto me,My grace is sufficient for thee;for my strength is made perfect in weakness.Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities,that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities,in reproaches,in necessities,in persecutions,in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak,them am I strong”.

(2 Corinthians 12:9,10).

“The name of the Lord is a strong tower:the righteous runneth into it,and is safe.
