Enemies appear in our lives many times,yet are reassured that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us!
Once a person chooses to walk with Christ it is not soon after the opposition shows up…………You guessed it satan and his army.Scriptures teach us that Jesus said we are more than conquerors. “As it is written,For thy sake we are killed all the day long;we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.Nay,in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that Loved us”.(Romans 8:36,37).
This choice we make to follow Christ brings much hatred,but remember he said they hated me before they hated you.We are no longer of the world nor follow it’s way’s. “I have given them thy word;and the world hath hated them,because they are not of the world,even as I am not of the world.I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world,but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil”. (John 17:14,15)……(John 15:18)……(1 John 3:13)……(Psalm 44:7).
We realize the right decision was made on our part when our Father shows up on our behalf,and should we make the wrong decision then war breaks out. “For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth,to SHEW HIMSELF STRONG IN THE BEHALF OF THEM WHOSE HEART IS PERFECT TOWARD HIM.Herein thou hast done foolishly :therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars”.
(2 Chronicles 16:9).
When we place our Faith in God it is he who causes us not to be a prey to our enemies,they do not triumph over us…Sadly sometimes it is our own friends who turn away from us. “Yea,mine own familiar friend,in whom I trusted,which did eat of my bread,hath lifted up his heel against me.But thou,O Lord,be merciful unto me,and raise me up,that I may requite them.By this I know that thou favourest me,because mine enemy doth not triumph over me”.(Psalm 41:9-11).
“Through thee will we push down our enemies:through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us”.(Psalm 44:5).

I had this friend,we were close (or so i thought) we did many things together,and i would help her in all she needed.I was ignoring red flags from the beginning,i have a forgiving heart,i forgive too much.Once i warned her about her behaviour and hypocrisy and she turned against me.You know that type of female you cannot say anything wrong because she thinks she’s perfect? (she’s catholic btw) After that she was stomping all over me,telling other how lesbian i am,that i hate all people,that i am mentally disturbed,and she would make a prank than smile in my face blaming it on me.I was harrased by her so much…..satan’s soldiers are often people too.God bless

Ann…….I’ve been where you were too many times…..It’s not just catholic religion,but religion as a whole that teaches no matter what we love and that’s true,but the time also comes that God let’s his people know their not a door mat.God stands in the stead of his people “Thus saith thy Lord the Lord,and thy God that PLEADETH THE CAUSE OF HIS PEOPLE,Behold,I have taken out of thine hand the cup of trembling,even the dregs of the cup of my fury;thou shalt no more drink it again:But I will put it in the hand of them that afflict thee;which have said to thy soul,Bow down,that we may go over:and thou hast laid thy body as the ground,and as the street,to them that went over:.(Isaiah 51:22,23)God Bless You sister.

Artbella………I know what your saying with the ye….The old english in the KJV is so beautiful..Then todays bibles are written different.I am so Thankful to be able to be a part of this website,as you know I’m still working on mine,but patience is a big part.God Bless You.

This is so good Julia! Once you turn to God, you become a target to all sorts of attacks. But no one can triumph over you, when God is on your side! Just call on His name or just be quiet and believe, like Moses said in Exodus 14:14 “The Lord shall fight for you, and yes shall hold your peace.”
