Jeremiah Has A Warning For This: Abortion Activists Rip Out Pews, Spraypaint Profane Graffiti in Catholic Church

My comment: The history of abortion dates back to 1550 BC.  Many cultures have performed this, and many cultures were destroyed.  The Bible say’s ‘Thou shall not kill.’  Period.  It doesn’t say you can kill an unborn child if MAN decides it’s not a person, or if man’s will wants to go over my law.   God will not hear a prayer to legalize abortion, I can answer that with 100% certainty.  God punished Israel many times for going against His will and His words.  Do you think He won’t punish us for doing the same thing.  You can’t change His word to fit you or the sin of the day!  Jeremiah speaks of the Israelites going against God’s word, and even sacrificing their children:  Jeremiah 7:30-31  “For the children of Judah have done evil in My sight, says the Lord.  They have set their abominations in the house which is called by My name to pollute it.  And they have built the high places of Tophet which is in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and daughters in the fire which I did not command nor did it come into My heart.’  In this same chapter Jeremiah 7:16  God tells Jeremiah this:  ‘Therefore do not pray for this people, nor lift up a cry or prayer for them, nor make intercession to Me; for I will not hear you.’  Now do you really think if God punished Israel for this, that He will not punish us, or even consider hearing a prayer to aid in this murder and abomination to God?  We need to be in sack cloth and ashes begging for repentance!  All of these practices of sacrifice & abortion are instituted by satan to entice the people of God to sin and go against Him so that they will be cursed by God.  This is not new.

Life News

A Catholic Archbishop is savaged in Belgium; protestors at a Catholic Church in Spain block exits and doors; in Chile demonstrators interrupt Mass, demolish confessionals, rip out pews and paint profane sacrilegious graffiti throughout the church.

Pro-abortion feminists under the guise of promoting “choice” carried out these and other attacks in the last few months.  Their actions make it seem that they have declared war on the Catholic Church with no regard for parishioners, common decency or law.

Welcome to the pro-choice Jihad.

Many of these radical extremists are enabled, if not directly funded, by an international cabal of pro-abortion organizations with far-reaching and deep-pocketed tentacles. For years groups like the oxymoronically named Catholics For Choice (CFC) have attacked Vatican policy as a way of promoting and demanding legalized abortion in predominantly Catholic pro-life countries.

CFC is the organization that years ago published disseminated a prayer card with the image of our Lady of Guadalupe on one side with a prayer to the Virgin Mary on the other imploring God for the legalization of abortion.  There have no sense of morality or shame. What’s worse is that they regularly publish an in-house newsletter (Conscience) that is used almost explicitly to promulgate their misplaced anti-Catholic rage.

They used a recent edition to extol the wisdom behind Roe v Wade and 40 years of abortion on demand.  They venerated the US Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion in 1973 without mention of late-term abortions, deaths from abortion, sex-selection abortion, unregulated and unhygienic abortion clinics, 55 million dead, Kermit Gosnell, or Tonya Reaves.

Like publishing a ham-salad recipe without mentioning the pig.

In the same recent publication a woman named Joanne Omang also wrote a very dismissive article about the Holy See’s presence at the United Nations in an attempt to further Catholics for Choice’s anti-Vatican campaign in delegitimizing the Vatican’s representation at the UN.

It’s worth noting that in the brief bio under her by-line, the editor mentions that Ms. Omang is a writer of fiction – after reading her piece I would encourage her to keep to that medium and leave journalism to folks with a bit more regard for accuracy.  Especially when it deals with something as convoluted and unsettling as the United Nations and global policy.

She does, however, in the course of her harangue, manage to stumble upon one truth when she writes:

Holy See delegates [to the United Nations] are legendary for their tireless attention to detail at UN conferences.

Apparently that’s a bad thing.  In Joanne’s worldview the most liberal policies,  – those considered offensive in most countries of the world – should be adopted without question or reservation.  To do otherwise is deemed oppressive by Ms. Omang and the editors at Conscience.

She augments her venomous assault on the Vatican by regurgitating comments from a tragic New York Times editorial that accused the Holy See of stalling negotiations during the most recent Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) held in New York City in March of this year.

I know that assertion to not be true – I was at the Commission meeting during its entirety.

The purpose of this year’s commission meeting was for the UN to adopt a resolution that would help promote the eradication of violence against women – a very noble cause.  During the negotiating phase the Holy See asked that previously agreed upon UN documents such as the Charter of the United Nations and other human rights instruments be reaffirmed.

But because some of these treaties and declarations include language that recognizes the “inherent right to life, liberty and security of persons,” the radical and extreme pro-abortion elements within the European Union and the delegation from the United States wanted them out.  The EU and US attempt to promote their failed social experimentation is what caused most of the contention – NOT the Holy See.

Lost on Ms. Omang (and the New York Times) is that it wasn’t just the Holy See who wanted to promote the inherent right to life of all persons – but that so did a few European countries and Arab Countries and African Countries and Latin American countries.  Sadder still is that in their never-ending push for abortion – a UN meeting meant to truly help the women of the world became (once again) an abortion-rights-fest.

Ironically it was during this meeting of the Commission on the Status of Women in which one of the regressive-liberal-social-engineering types suggested during the negotiations that girls as young as 6 should be able to “fulfill” their “autonomous sexual and reproductive rights.”
