There is a song that Steve Green sings called “The Other Side Of The Grave” and the  words speak so much truth…….We are alive in Christ and dead to the world, free from the sin that enslaves!

There is freedom to the believer when they come to Christ yet it feels like death at the same time,because you want to rush out and tell everyone of the Great Treasure of Truth you have found and they look at you as though your not even there….basicly dead! How many times was Jesus in front of people and his message fell on deaf ears?

This is why in Isaiah’s vision he asked the Lord to send him out to the people. “Also I heard the voice of the Lord,saying,whom shall I send,and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy,and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.Then said I,Lord,how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant,and the houses without man,and the land be utterly desolate”.(Isaiah 6:8-11).

    We are living in the last days of which Daniel spoke of the Abomination Of Desolation and as we can see on the daily news with fires,floods and the outright shunning of God by the States so eager to pass laws for same sex marriage which is an Abomination in the eyes of God. “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination”.(Leviticus 18:22)…… “And likewise also the men,leaving the natural use of the woman,burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly,and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet(fitting)”.(Romans 1:27).Then we have a President that says we are bigots if we don’t accept their sin.

    Our new life in Christ brings death to the flesh,for flesh cannot inherit the kingdom of God only Spirit will. “Now this I say,brethren,that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption”.(1 Corinthians 15:50).

It’s best to be in Christ and not of this perishing world. “It is a Faithful saying: For if we be dead with him,we shall also live with him”.(2 Timothy 2:11).It is true we will see God in flesh bodies,but they will be Spirit filled flesh bodies. “For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:And though after my skin worms destroy this body,yet in my flesh shall I see God; Whom I shall see for myself,and mine eyes shall behold, and not another;though my reins be consumed within me”.(Job 19:25-27).

This is why Jesus told Nicodemus that he had to be born again.(John 3:1-8).

“I am crucified with Christ:nevertheless I live;yet not I,but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God,who Loved me,and gave himself for me”.(Galatians 2:20)
