In a world of uncertainty with so much increasing violence and weather that is displacing many it is so good to keep our eyes on the Saviour of our soul,for he never changes he’s the same yesterday-today-and forever! (Hebrews 13:8).
We who trust in the written Holy Word of God know that he always keeps his promises “Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations”.(Deuteronomy 7:9).
God is the stability for our life,his sure mercies never fail. “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.They are new every morning:great is thy faithfulness.The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him it is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord”.(Lamentations 3:22-26).
Abraham and Sarah knew first hand the Faithfulness of God when they were blessed with a child in old age! “Then Abraham fell upon his face,and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear? And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before thee! And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed;and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him”.(Genesis 17:17-19).
God who is so Faithful to his people deserves us to be a servant that is obedient to his promises kept…………. “O love the Lord,all ye his saints: for the Lord preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord”(Psalm 31:23,24).
It doesn’t take long when one comes to the Lord that he shows forth his marvellous works which only he can do,it is by him showing himself strong in the behalf of his people we come to know just how faithful he is to his children.If we do foolishly though it will bring forth war for us just as Asa found out when he did not rely on the Lord. “For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect towards him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars”.(2 Chronicles 16:9).
“God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord”.(1 Corinthians 1:9)

We find in Isaiah 58:1-11 tells if prayers are unanswered this is the fast the Lord has chosen….in todays world we are always hearing to refrain from food for a period of time and (This is a fast between you and your Father)In Matthew 6:4-8 we find that if we choose to refrain from food it is something we do as a petition to God to hear us and do not need to announce to anyone that we are fasting,for he knows the hearts and minds of us all and knows that we are showing him we are being obedient as we refrain from food for what we say whether it’s a morning to evening fast or a day…God Knows My Dear and as written: “But thou, when thou prayest,enter into thy closet (Means Be Alone with your Father),and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly”.(Matthew 6:6).
We all need deliverance from different things at different times of our life and this is the way to have satan who is as a roaring lion trying his best to devour the Believer put under your feet where our Savior has put him…God Bless You Slenette.
