Most people remember as they will attest to the day their life was changed by the hand of God.You will hear them say things like God saved me when I hit bottom in my life,or they encounter a true miracle of healing.No matter what the event that was so life changing they know they will never be the same and now live their lives to tell others of the Testimony and Saving Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ.
“Ye are my witnesses,saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.I,even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no saviour.I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, that I am God”.(Isaiah 43:10-12).
The testimony of the Believer is not easily received though,Jesus came to the earth to testify of the Father and his testimony also was not well received as John the Baptist said he was the forerunner of Christ. “He must increase, but I must decrease.He that cometh from above is above all:he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony.He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him”.(John 3:30-34).
The previous passage clearly speaks that to be born again of the Spirit (Born from above)as Christ claimed that his conversation was from heaven,just as those who are born again today of that very same Spirit Jesus promised to send to those who believe on his word as we then become witness to his truth. “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come”.
(John 16:13).
We are called to be his witnesses,and in the last days it will be the witness of Christ’s words preached to the nations that the end will come. “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come”.(Matthew 24:13,14).
Never be ashamed of the words of God for heaven and earth shall pass away,but his words are for all Eternity and you can trust in them! What a Blessing it is to be a witness of a place that has no end. “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall never pass away”.(Matthew 24:35).

So very true! We Are Witnesses! Jesus said ‘He that rejecteth me, & receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day’. Then Jesus said ‘But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: & ye shall be Witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, & in all Judaea, & in Samaria, & unto the uttermost part of the earth’. Artbella…..So true! The offence people take to the word today is so sad………..We witness to people of their only hope and they seem to find something else to put their hope in.We as witnesses were forwarned though…Jesus said remember they hated me before they hated you.God Bless You.
