Human bones found along with skull masks as voodoo temple is uncovered in tool shed behind Colorado home

(Daily Mail) Human bones have been uncovered along with numerous bizarre and unusual items at what police believe was once a voodoo temple used to worship the occult.

The shocking discovery was made last Thursday in and around the tool-shed at the back of a home at 1250 Kline Street in Lakewood, Colorado, which was being prepared to be sold.

A cleaning crew hired by a local real estate agent uncovered numerous items while clearing out the shed including a machete, a skeleton mask, a wig of brown hair, candles, bottles, an iron pot, a scepter made from an antler and bulls horn and various animals bones.

There was also a near life-size human figurine, wearing a beaded necklace and a crown.

Police spokesman Steve Davis said the human bones – including a partial skull and leg bones – have been sent to a laboratory to be testing for DNA evidence. The process could take several weeks or possibly months.

The house is not considered a crime scene, because police don’t have any evidence that a crime was ever committed there.

Davis said investigators believe all the items were brought-in from somewhere else and it is perfectly legal to purchase human bones on the internet.

Police also found a scepter made from an antler and bulls horn and various animals bones

Items found in the shed included an iron pot and a wig of brown hair

Neighbors have been shocked by the discovery and said they had no idea that anything unusual had taken place

‘That would be very frightening,’ neighbor Scott Keller.

He and his wife Kelly knew the woman who lived next door, but say they knew very little about her husband who lived there until 1998 when he moved to Panama. He died several years ago.

‘I never talked with her about her husband,’ Kelly Keller said.

Investigators talked to people who knew the man, including at least one family member, who indicted he was an occultist, Davis said.

The man’s widow continued living in the house for 15 years, until a few months ago. In all those years, she apparently never stepped foot in the tool shed.
