Life is very difficult at times and to be always upbeat just is not feasible. It is one of the many reasons Jesus came to the earth to begin with, for to comfort those who are oppressed of the devil! “How God annointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; For God was with him”.(Acts 10:38).
Jesus is the light in this dark world that satan is the god of. But as a Christian we are not ignorant of the many devices he tries to steer a Believer from living a good and righteous life. Paul spoke of how different times he would set out to be somewhere for the people, but was hindered by satan! “But we, brethren, being taken from you for a short time in presence, not in heart, endeavoured the more abundantly to see your face with great desire. Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but satan hindered us”.(1 Thessalonians 2:17,18). “Lest satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices”.
(2 Corinthians 2:11).
It is a strong faith that keeps our focus on God and with spiritual eyes we see all that Christ has already done on our behalf, for he has overcome the world and we have power over our enemies through the name of Jesus Christ. “Hear my prayer , O God; give ear to the words of my mouth. For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah. Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul. He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth. I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O Lord; for it is good. For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seen his desire upon mine enemies”.(Psalm 54:2-7).
Our life from time to time will have people in it that are not living for the Lord as we do, we need to keep in mind they will try their best to sway our belief and it is then we need to remember to stay in fear of God and not fear people. “I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass; And forgettest the Lord thy maker, that hath stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and hast feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?”.(Isaiah 51:12,13).

I Am Not Ashamed……….I know this time of year is really hard for alot of people, and life in general is just not easy at times. So we look to the Blessed hope of our Saviour who Keeps us through everything. Many times people who do not understand you is not as important as the one who has set us aside as his peculiar people and his own, after all this is a temporary place we are passing through to Eternity.God Bless You.
