My Prayer For Today: A Little Good News

I was looking over the news this morning, and couldn’t bring myself to post any of it.  And there is plenty of it, Innocent people are still being tortured, murdered and raped.  Christians are still being purged from Africa and the middle east. (More) The west is still trying to push Israel into the pre-1967 borders.  Now it looks like in January Kerry will start an all out campaign against Israel in January. (More)  Our country has lost it’s way, pushing God from every aspect of our lives.  The list goes on and on.  but this song came to mind.  It really did.  I searched for it and found it, and I’m going to let it speak for me today.

598px-Peace_dove_noredblobs_svgOur peace as Christians comes from the Prince of Peace, we can have peace in our spirit from Him.  Jesus say’s:  Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.  Pray for peace, pray for the innocent’s, pray for our Brother’s & Sister’s, pray for Israel, who is the only country in the middle east not murdering, torturing or raping Christians or the  innocent.  Pray for our military in these lands.  Pray for those hurting and suffering here and in the world.  Pray for Peace for them, the kind of Peace that passes all understanding, the kind of Peace that only our Father can give.  “May the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, Amen.”  (Galatians 6:18)

  1. This WAS very good news! I suppose that is why Jesus would say to his disciples you will not always have me and therefore when he left would send them and now us the Comforter we know as The Holy Spirit! We are never alone when we walk with him.God Bless You.
