“We Stand Alone”

first

It is written it’s appointed to man once to die then the judgement. How many live their lives and hang things over the head of another, or live in a family of secrets and use those secrets to blackmail the other?  When a person dies it is not the actions of others we answer for, but we will stand alone in front of the judgement seat and answer for our own ways!

Cain was the very first murderer of man and he tried to hide his sin of killing his brother Abel, yet God knew his actions and his brothers innocent blood cried out. We have heard there is power in the blood of Christ and this story tells also of the power of innocent blood and that God hears a life screaming through blood! “If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him. And the Lord said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brothers keeper? And he said, what hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground”.(Genesis 4:7-10).
In the very end of our life it is only what was done for Christ that will last. Did we live a life pleasing to him or did we make another choice? Even though persecution weighs heavy on a Believer, They know that on judgement day a reward of eternal life has been won for the race they ran for their Saviour. Eternity will well be worth any and all affliction suffered! “For we walk by faith, not by sight: We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. For we must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad”.
(2 Corinthians 5:7-10).
We have heard or even seen for ourselves people who gave their life to Christ on their death bed and those around them were so happy they accepted Christ before it was too late. They had missed out on a lifetime of Blessing’s they could have received. “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgement, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil”.(Ecclesiastes 12:13,14).

  1. Not Ashamed………..When we look around it is easy to see the children of disobedience which think they will somehow live forever no matter what. It is satans greatest deception to keep people in the dark to what life is really for while we live and have our being which is to praise and serve God and to do his will! Yes as you say he is knocking on the hearts of many, but the doors remain closed for them to open their hearts and find the light of their soul. We see every day the choices now that are to usher in the darkest times that lie in not the so distant future.. God Bless You.

  2. Amen Julia! It will be a day of judgment, we will all stand before God to give account of our lives. We won’t be able to call witnesses to tell what a good job we did, we won’t be able to say ‘but the church should be here with me, because I followed them.’ Every secret thing man thought God couldn’t see or didn’t care about, will be brought out. And what rewards wait us, as Jesus said, ‘Man can not see, or understand what He has prepared for us.’ He’s knocking at the door of so many hearts. I pray they open the door and allow Him into their hearts and soul’s, and as He said, ‘I will sup with him and he with Me.’ Thanks Julia.
