“Ears To Hear And Eyes To See”

first Ever hear the saying its like what was said went in one ear and out the other? This is what happens when someone is not interested in what is being said, and why Jesus would often say he who has ears to hear let him hear. He said this because the Spirit of God understands with the heart, and the mind of the world does not hear the still small voice of God which speaks  to the Spirit of man. Jesus said when the heart is converted to truth it is healed!  “And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of E-sai’-as, which saith, by hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: For this people’s heart is waxed (grown) gross (callous), and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear”.(Matthew 13:10-16).

When we are born again of the Spirit of God we appear as the same person on the outside to people, yet we are changed from within and now see through the spiritual eyes of faith. “For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal”.(2 Corinthians 4:16-18).

God is of such purer eyes, he cannot even bear to look upon evil, But we on the other hand can view evil and turn a blind eye and when we learn more of God’s righteous ways we then too have a hard time to look at evil around us. “Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treaccherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he”.(Habakkuk 1:13)…………(Psalm 139:21-24).

God loves always and he wants no one to perish, yet if our choices stay away from his instruction thats best for our lives he will stay far away from any wickedness and will continue with those who will hear him and see his salvation if we fear him and not man.
“The Lord is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous. The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart; and a good report maketh the bones fat. The ear that heareth the reproof of life abideth among the wise. He that refuseth instruction despiiseth his own soul: but he that heareth reproof getteth understanding. The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom;  and before honour is humility”.(Proverbs 15:29-33). “

    • Isaiah 52:
13 Behold, my servant shall act wisely; he shall be high and lifted up,
          and shall be exalted.
14 As many were astonished at you—his appearance was so marred, beyond human semblance, and his form beyond that of the children of mankind—
15 so shall he sprinkle many nations; kings shall shut their mouths because of him; for that which has not been told them they see, and that which they have not heard they understand.

      • Amen Albert. Isaiah prophesied about the King of Kings. His reign will never end. I keep hearing these words lately: Romans 14:11
For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

  4. In a dream I saw a typed memo with Times-New Roman fonts. It said: “Read Psalm 139.”
It took me a long time for my heart and mind to agree to hear and see (23-24).

  5. Amen Julia, it’s harder and harder to watch evil unfold around us. And yes! The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom. We as a collective have traded that in for Political correctness. Bless you Sister!
