There are a people created for the time God has said there will be great tribulation and these people are the watchmen and women who are not ashamed of God and the justice he stands for! They are the persecuted Spirit filled church of the body of Christ called to not be silent as they make mention of the Lord. They speak of the New Jerusalem (The Holy City) God has prepared for all who love and serve him. “I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silence, And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth. The Lord hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured: And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the Lord: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken”.(Isaiah 62:6-8,12).

When Jesus saw that with much joy the disciples of his day were amazed at the mighty works they witnessed and began to display praise all of which upset the pharisees and when they told Jesus to rebuke his disciples Jesus said if they were to become silent then the stones would cry out! “And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen; Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest. And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples. And he answered and said unto them, “I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out” .(Luke 19:37-40).

    The redeemed of the Lord have great joy and will lift their voices in praise as their soul has seen the salvation promised them! “Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the Lord shall bring again Zion. Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the Lord hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem. The Lord hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God. Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the Lord. For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the Lord will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your reward”.(Isaiah 52:8-12).
