Prophecy is unfolding at a rapid rate.  When I talk to others about this the eyes will glaze over and a mocking tone appears.  Many either don’t understand what they read in Revelation, Daniel, Ezekiel and the other prophecy books or they look at them as ‘stories’ to entertain.  They don’t dig into the news, they take at face value the media outlets that we trusted in the past decades to tell us the truth.  When in fact they are covering up or twisting the truth and it becomes propaganda.

Let’s think for a minute, about 2 descriptions of the end time kingdom (beast) portrayed in Daniel & Revelation.  Daniel gives a clear picture of the fourth and final beast kingdom that will rule.  Pay attention to the words he used to describe this kingdom.  (Stay with me, I do have a point.)

Daniel chapter 7

• “After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, exceedingly strong. It had huge iron teeth; it was devouring, breaking in pieces, and trampling the residue with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns. 
•  I was considering the horns, and there was another horn, a little one, coming up among them, before whom three of the first horns were plucked out by the roots. And there, in this horn, were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking pompous words.

These (beasts) kingdoms are described as having claws, and iron teeth, this one is different from the rest as it devours everything and tramples the residue with it’s feet.  John gives us a vivid description of a beast that Daniel describes also.  Both having 10 horns.  Horns are used in the Bible to describe kings, kingdoms or powers.  But look at the descriptions.

Revelation chapter 13

• Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name.

• Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. 
•  And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. 
• So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?”

Both of these beasts have so much symbolism tucked inside that unless you study history and understand the way these kingdoms were described in ancient times, it’s difficult to understand and this is the point where eyes begin to glaze and mockery comes out.

When I scour the news, most especially the middle east and Africa, it’s like reading neon lights.  Neon lights that point directly to scripture.  I am not a scholar, I don’t pretend to be.  I am not a theologian.  I study in the Spirit, and use the gift God gave to us of discernment.

Now when reading and reporting on Iran, Syria, Turkey, Lebanon, Sudan, Nigeria, Libya, Egypt and others there are certain things that appear just below the surface that is described in detail in the scriptures.  Let’s take this one example and hopefully it will spur you to read and pay attention to the details.  I read an article on Iran this morning that jumped right out of the Bible into my mind, and set off warning bells.  This beast from Daniel and Revelation is alive and well, and it’s growing.  Here is an excerpt from an article that reports on a recent speech by the Ayatollah of Iran.

(Excerpt from Front Page Magazine) Battle and jihad are endless because evil and its front continue to exist… This battle will only end when the society can get rid of the oppressors’ front with America at the head of it, which has expanded its claws on human mind, body and thought… This requires a difficult and lengthy struggle and need for great strides. Iran is not moderate, it is continuously calling for the destruction of Israel, and Christianity.  And even though America is according to our leader not a Christian Nation, it is viewed that way in the Middle East.  They want to rid the world of ‘God’s people.’  And they think this is their calling and way of believing.  They will do this according to their religious beliefs.  And yet the world turns a blind eye.  But notice how the Ayatollah describes the west led by America.  Claws that destroy mind, body and thought.  This is straight out of Daniel and Revelation.  They recognize symbolism, they recognize what the prophets said, however they believe that the beast out of the sea is a good kingdom and they should follow it.  If warning signs are not going off in your mind, you should dig into scripture.

This is just one example of how scripture is coming to life.  How these kingdoms are uniting to form what will be a kingdom to be a desolation, a desolation that both Daniel and Jesus referenced.  Recognize it for what it is.  Because as Daniel tells us when this kingdom rises the Ancient of Day’s will arrive and sit in judgement.
