“The Awesome Power Of Christ”
It is written God himself says in the last days he will speak to his people by his Son! Throughout many generations God spoke through his holy prophet’s and now by his Son through the Holy Spirit in his people moved to speak his message to mankind. “God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the majesty on high”.(Hebrews 1:1-3).
It is by Gods infinite wisdom he has allowed those who fear and reverence him to rejoice and realize that even if Christ were angry a small amount he would have the ability that we could perish. “Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little, Blessed are all they that put their trust in him”.(Psalm 2:6,7,10-12).
Paul writes as he is about to depart that it is by the authority of the Lord that helps us to edify one another, and that we should live in peace and be of one mind. “Since ye seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, which to youward is not weak, but is mighty in you. For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God toward you. Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the Lord hath given me to edification, and not to destruction. Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace: and the God of love and peace shall be with you”.(2 Corinthians 13:3,4,10,11).
All power is placed in Christ, and it is by his mighty name that every knee shall bow before him! “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth”.(Philippians 2:9,10).

I HEAR YOU……..I’m not laughing one bit about the gas gauge going to full as I had the same thing happen to me, but Praise God for you sharing this as I have been looked at as odd, But now your story confirms exactly the power I saw also of the Holy and true God we serve!!!!!! I know the story of George Miller and the wonderful faith this man had in God……..There’s no way unless mountains are moved can one ever believe…..Thomas was good at doubting and many times people stay safe for to avoid ridicule, But I shout it from the housetop’s what God can and does do for his children and although I may have not many friends somehow to be a friend of God seems enough than the stress of fake faith filled Christians of our day……………God knows the hearts and minds of all and his way is sufficient for any need we face. Yes it our blessed Holy Spirit that quickens our bodies and minds. When you clear you mind of the clutter of religion and search the words in old and new testaments we see some amazing things called into being by Gods Children by the hand and spirit of God. A brother I got to know recently was in the USA some years back with his wife and children.
Even today they not sure why they went there but during their times there they had very little finances. In all situations God always provided BUT they both had to call forth those things that were not and as an example; The van they had was almost empty of fuel as they were driving. One of children said to his Dad look we going to run out of fuel. His reply was a faith filled one and he said it is not going to happened and called on the Lord and prayed in the Holy Ghost. The children, wife and Father watched as the fuel gauge went from almost empty to the full mark. Even today they see amazing provision from theirs and our Father simply by following Christ examples and words and teachings.
Those lacking in knowledge and understanding of the Lord would laugh at this and attempt to give some rational explanation when the glory belongs to God. They never ran out of fuel and carried on doing what they were doing in the states.
Satan imitates God power and the world sees that imitation and will see it world wide through the the antichrist who is yet to come. Many say science is a wonderful thing and look at all the wonderful things we (man) have achieved. BUT God is science because he created everything in the first place.
Look at the end of this scripture: Romans 14:23: But he that doubteth is condemned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith; and whatsoever is not of faith is sin.
Interesting statement “whatsoever is not of “faith” is sin. When I show this to many people they are stunned and these are people who walk in the Lord.
My understanding – if Jesus can command the wind and the waves and if I am faced with a similar situation and speak to these elements like he did “in Him” then the result “will be the same”
George Müller an old time soldier (look him up) was on a ship going to anther land. The ship became fogged in and could not move forward as they could not see where they were going. George Muller asked the Captain would they reach land by the morning. Captain replied “no” because he could not risk moving forward in such dense fog. George said then lets go down below deck and pray, though the Captain agreed he was filled with unbelief. George prayed and asked that the fog be dispersed and when he finished the Captain went to pray. But George stopped Him as He knew where this mans faith was. He then said lets go back up on deck and they did and lo and behold there was no sign of the fog and He did reach his destination the next day to preach where he was supposed to preach.
There are so many tales such as those two and I even say you would have some as well but they never shouted from the roof tops so others in the Lord are encouraged to walk the same “way”.
Colossians 1:16 for in him were all things created, in the heavens and upon the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through him, and unto him;

Ian…………….How wonderful it is to hear from someone who truly understands the awesome power of Christ!!!!!!…..People feel they are just made of flesh and blood, but it is the Holy Spirit which gives one the ability to see just what a small viewing of heaven is like when through faith we can and do move mountains in this life! God Bless You Brother …. what a strength we find within from the Father of Lights…………

My brother in Ireland once wrote, if there is no healings in the church you are walking in you are in a place that is dead in the power of Christ. I know we do not truly understand the depth of our Fathers power and this is due to the corruption of the true gospel message.
God spoke and the universe was created so he controls every single particle of energy that makes up the universe including earth. See what He said to his disciples when he calmed the wind and waves. He has power over every single aspect of His creation. Think of what he said about making the rocks cry out and he could.
I can personally tell you in one particular place I spoke to the raging wind and kept the course and seen it die away in a short period of time around the land I had claimed for Christ. Interesting for me was outside the boundaries of this land the wind was still raging.
One day will truly understand the dept of his awesome power. Praise His Holy name and come dear Jesus come.
