Why you should take religion off your resume
By Sara Grossman, CNN
(CNN) – If you’re applying for a new job, it may be best to leave religion off your resume, according to a new study.
Job applicants who mentioned any form of faith affiliation on their resumes were 26% less likely to be contacted by employers than candidates who didn’t, according to the study conducted by sociologists at the University of Connecticut.
Muslim, pagan and atheist job applicants were the least likely to get callbacks from potential employers.

Ian…………….Your comment reminds me of the scripture when the disciples asked Jesus why he spoke in parables and his reply echoes you as he said for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear they will and the Holy Spirit makes that separation as you spoke those tuned into the Holy Spirit understood while others did not get the message. Great Comment. God Bless You Brother.

In corporate positions I have walked in in NZ this is a definite no, no. Not allowed to speak of your faith. When coaching people I used to quote scripture without saying it was from the bible. I would just say there are words written that say this, those of the faith in the room would know others not of the faith would not know where the words came from and many in this boat even agreed with them.
My way of witnessing without break the companies polices 🙂
