This post is for all who have had or are in the midst of the trying of their faith. Sometimes in a situation when we’re between a rock and a hard place and it seems as though there is no clear answer in sight, it is then we look up and say Father in my own strength I did my best and now I am at a crossroad in life and I rely solely upon your will and not my own! “I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, our of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord. Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies. Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered”.(Psalm 40:1-5).
Oh how heavy a heart we have when we do what is right and it is viewed as wrong by the world. Even though those around us cannot see our heart, we can be assured the one who made it will keep us no matter what as we put our trust and faith in him! When we walk and stay focused on him the world dims as we walk closer to the light and knowledge which is of greater value than we could ever imagine. “But it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God”.(1 Corinthians2:9,10).
We know it is written he will never leave us nor forsake us, and it is at the deepest darkest times of our life he walks the closest! “O the hope of Israel, the Saviour thereof in time of trouble, why shouldest thou be as a stranger in the land, and as a wayfaring man that turneth aside to tarry for a night? Why should thou be as a man astonied, as a mighty man that cannot save? yet thou, O Lord, art in the midst of us, and we are called by thy name; leave us not”.(Jeremiah 14:8,9).
