Recently I have noticed a growing trend that disturbs me. The news lately has wrenched my heart and even my soul. I have spent countless hours in prayer and tears over the slaughter in the middle east. The persecution of my brethren in not so distant lands has disturbed us all. But there is a growing trend that disturbs me almost as much. I do not wish to say that people can not defend themselves against terror or demonic evil that is encompassing the world. With that said, we can’t stoop to levels that represent the very evil that is coming against us. We have all seen the campaign by demonic entities to present themselves as honorable warriors for a god. But to take on the very protocol that they are doing is not honorable either.
I have witnessed first hand even Christian sites encouraging and even supporting mercenaries to travel to these lands and fight to kill these evil entities. I call them entities because they are not human. So are we to resort to inhuman activities as well? Are we not to be separate from this? Are we not to shine a light in the darkness to lead all to Christ? Why not support aid missions instead. Not governmental aid necessarily, but agencies that are actually making a difference for those fleeing persecution and slaughter. We have all seen the governmental aid that has been intercepted by ISIS, why are we not demanding accountability from our governments for this aid? Why are we not demanding accountability from our governments who fund and aid in the billions to countries who abuse not only basic human fundamental rights, but the rights of all to have freedom?
Recently there have also been sites glamorizing this fight. I applaud any country who makes a stand for freedom. But to glamorize killing in any way goes against every principal I stand for. I not only advocate for Christians who are persecuted but for everyone oppressed, everyone who doesn’t have a voice or means to rise up and confront evil. But I can not condone radicalization in any way, means or form. Recently a trend developed calling women to fight also with those fighting ISIS. These photos and videos are disgusting. Not only are they disgusting they are inciting evil to conquer and kill these women. Another woman was captured recently by ISIS and beheaded. This is not glamorizing, it’s not honorable but neither is the call to join militias to kill in the name of God.
Jesus’ words “there is coming a time when they will kill you thinking they are doing a service to God”, not only applies to this inhuman evil, but to us as well. This ideology is dangerous, dark and false. So are we to participate it in it? No. This is why I can not and will not be a part of this in any way. Think long and hard before you condone or become complicit in these types of activities. I have prayed long and hard about this, and this is what the Holy Spirit gives me. I’m sorry if this offends you but it’s what I have been given. When asking for advice for this post, I was given this: “How far do you go to stop evil, before you are also evil” This rang very loud for me. It’s very true.
Pray for Knowledge, Wisdom, and Guidance, pray for our brethren and all innocent and lost souls in the world facing evil. Pray for God’s mercy. Pray for world leaders to turn to God and use righteous judgements and actions. Pray for the world to turn to Faith instead of fear. Pray for God’s almighty hand of judgement and protection.

What Hayden has written is some thing those that truly walk with Christ Jesus will acknowledge. All others who walk in sense knowledge will do as Hayden stated – call their brothers and sister cowards and so forth and quite frankly be the one to betray them to the authorities in the time ahead.
Sister we have been translated from the realm of darkness in the realm of light in and through Christ Jesus. We warfare not in the physical but in the spiritual as sons and daughters of Christ using the privileges and rights given to us by the Father through the Son.
We are sons and daughters of God our Father and we need to take our place here on earth in Jesus’s stead and walk, talk and do as all the things He has placed in our hands not what man or carnal Christians demand we do as sons and daughters of our Father who art in heaven.

I am in agreement with you on this. I too have seen this coming into the Christian world. To become an armed camp and begin to slaughter and kill as the demonized IS people are doing is no answer.
I have even seen some Christians calling other Christians cowards or worse because they will not arm themselves and prepare to begin killing.
There is no record of the Apostles or the ancient Christians bearing arms after the encounter in Gethsemane. There are plenty of records, some with eyewitness accounts, of the Christians in the government controlled arenas being put to death in horrible ways and how they conducted themselves. There is no record of them taking weapons and fighting Rome. Above all they wanted to honor the LORD+ JESUS, Whom they loved more than their own short little lives.
I am also familiar with the Scriptures used to intimidate Christians who do not want to join in the”blood-lust”. However, at some point we must begin to conduct ourselves as followers of the SON of GOD and walk out our short time on the earth as HE+ did, and as HE+ taught us to do.
We must learn to be a separate and a holy people, disciples who actually follow CHRIST.
I am as angry as anyone and sometimes too angry, when I see the atrocities that are taking place and want to see it stopped. I do ask for GOD’S Mighty Hand to intervene and strike the evil entities so that ALL can see that “this is the Hand of GOD”, and come to the TRUTH+, and not perish eternally.
