Divine Intervention……………..
I will never forget the day my mother surprised a doctor by the healing grace of God. She was a diabetic and as many who know of this disease that neuropathy is part of its package. We had visited the doctor who had seen a couple of her toes were turning black and he said they would have to amputate. My Mothers faith never wavered and said this is Gods body and he will take care of it and then smiled!(Philippians 1:20,21). According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death. For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
By the time the next appointment arrived the toes were completely normal, and we both anxiously waited to see what the doctor would say as he was so certain things would worsen. He removed her sock and then stood up and didn’t say a word then he looked up and said I’m not going to say anything and you could tell by the look on his face this was outside of what he would normally see in his practice. From that time on when the outward appearance of things didn’t match what was considered normal my Mother would say it’s an “inside Job”. Many around the world have also experienced the inside workings of what a strong faith filled life sees. (Hebrews 11:1). Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
To have the faith that moves mountains does not mean if one does not receive healing God does not care, DO NOT LOSE HOPE PEOPLE for in our weakness we are made strong just as Paul sought God three times to remove the thorn in his flesh he then understood that his physical weakness could display the power of Christ in his life! (2 Corinthians 12:7-10). And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
Life is truly hard but it is even more difficult without the hope we find in the one who was willing to die for us. Next time things seem so overpowering read 2 Corinthians 11:23-30 of all Paul endured and know the life of a Christian is like no other as they strive to enter the gates of heaven and do not live to stay in a world even Christ was not a part of. (John 15:16-20)…(John 18:36,37). Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. These things I command you, that ye love one another. If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

Ian…..so true it is the knowledge we claim over any setback as satan tries to take us from all the promises we as the children of the most High God have been given. I hear you of being blessed even colds and flu as well as the weightier stroke and the like. All glory to God! It wasn’t just my mothers toes that was healed, but as you say a myriad of events claimed by the stripes our Lord and Savior suffered for us. God Bless You.

Hey Sister – it is not actually faith but knowledge. If we truly under the redemptive work did by the cross and follow that through we would really understand satan has no authority over Gods children at all. He is under Jesus feet and as we are seated in heavenly places with Christ that means satan in under our feet so disease and sickness have no hold over us at all.
When satan attacks us with some sickness we would have the quiet assurance and rebuke it in Jesus name and say to our Father that Jesus stripes healed us so this sickness or disease has no hold on me just like the mother did in this case. It was not faith it was the knowledge she had that Jesus said she was healed and she totally accepted his word over what she saw in the physical.
It is understanding this as his disciples eventually did and walked after Jesus went back to the Father. I have personally been healed of stroke, and a water works problem that older men suffer and colds and flu and the list goes on.
A bother in Ireland has been healed from being a diabetic and four heart attacks which should of taken his life. During this time he told me Jesus came to him and said I have rebuked the devour for your sake and now he is running meetings where healings take place and many come to the Lord. Hospital checked him out and cannot find anything wrong with him now – Praise the Lord.
We are Sons and Daughters of the most high God and I am a new creation but we have never been taught how to take our rightful place as a son or daughter and therefore we are weak in our knowledge of the redemptive work Christ did for us in the Father.
God watches over his word to perform it and not one of his words returns to him void.
Interestingly in NZ here a brother who is in his late 70s who has had ministry of healing for many years has been diagnosed with some form of cancer. What is a makes no sense is that after all the healings he has seen occur he has run to man for healing of this disease. Makes no sense to me at all.
