New South Wales police have asked people to avoid the area.
An Australian Broadcasting Corporation reporter said that heavily armoured police vehicles had now arrived at the scene.

Abbott and his government have been talking this up well before it happened. They apparently stopped another extremist from beheading a random person in the exact same area some months back.
The NZ Prime minster is also using the same language, talking up an attack could happen here in NZ. They are using this as an excuse to get NZ & Australian soldiers on the ground fighting ISIL. NZ PM say will operate under the ANZAC banner as a way to commemorate our soldiers laying down their lives in the British invasion of Turkey. (sick)
When you talk something up as they have done, they create fear, and then use this fear to pass draconian security laws which eventually will be used against their own citizens. Both Australia and NZ have already done this.
It also encourages the extremist in the population of the Muslim community to go out and do what they are saying is going to happen and so they do which we see here.
Watch and see it happen in New Zealand. I say that again, watch and see and it will happen in New Zealand for these people are willing in fact taunting the extremist to come and do what they think they can do. They do not care one bit about the innocent blood that will flow in the process because it will suit their agenda.
Seeing Mr O can send his troops into IRAQ again he is going to use as fodder NZ and Australian soldiers there. US will need their troops for the fight against Russia which your so called politicians have all agreed can happen and have passed a bill to fund it. Again these people are willing all this to happen and are taking every action possible including using words that taunt to make it happen.

I am in agreement with Ian’s assessment of the situation, The “10 kings/horns” are pushing hard for war with Russia. As Ian noted, these people care NOTHING for human life and will use any and every opportunity and every LIE they can come up with to accomplish their “agenda”.
Let us all be alert and listening to our LORD+ and HIS+ directions and instructions to us on how to be as we see prophecy unfold before our eyes.
The PTB are happy to use their hired IS killing machine and those who look up to them to bring their plans about. They will be stopped at the appointed time however.
