“The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”

new year

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Happy New Year, everyone.  I just want to say thank you, and focus on the year ahead.  With the turmoil of 2014, and the prophecy that is unfolding we must remember that our Lord and Savior is on the throne at the right hand of the Father.  As we focus on the increasing persecution and uncertainties of the world today, I remember Stephen as he was at the hands of those stoning him, when he raised his eyes to heaven; But being full of the Holy Spirit, he gazed intently into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God; and he said, “Behold, I see the heavens opened up and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.”… (Acts 7:55-56)

What a glorious sight for Stephen.  We can’t forget in the coming day’s and tribulation to keep our eyes focused on this.  We must let our light shine, the light of Christ and the light of the Holy Spirit.  My prayer for all is to be filled with the Holy Spirit and the love of Christ so that the world may see this example set forth by Christ and His disciples.  More than ever in past centuries Christ’s message of love and light is needed and called for.  We are to watch and be vigilant.  And let’s not forget who is in control.

praise to god

1 Peter 1:3-9

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,  and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.  In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.  These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.  Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,  for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

Matthew 24:42

So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

Revelation 22: 6-7

“These words are faithful and true”; and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent His angel to show to His bond-servants the things which must soon take place. And behold, I am coming quickly. Blessed is he who heeds the words of the prophecy of this book.”

So as we move into 2015, remember our trials and sufferings are nothing compared to what is awaiting us.  May everyone have a blessed New Year.

John 13:34-35

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. “By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

The prayer of Jabez :

And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested. 1 Chronicles 4:10

  1. My earnest prayer is that people will come to know they are not alone, and that God is near and not a God far away that he does not hear. ( Jeremiah 23:23-24 ) ( Acts 17:27 ) Many blessings to all who follow the way he has called us to do. God Bless You.
