- WHY DO YOU CALL ME LORD?
JESUS said, ” Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do the things which I say?”
“YOU ARE MY+ FRIENDS IF YOU DO WHATSOEVER I+ COMMAND YOU .”

The LORD+ JESUS has called us to Discipleship, not to mental assent.
HE+ said to the Apostles and Disciples just before HE+ ascended to HIS+ and our FATHER’S Right Hand….
” All Power is given unto ME+ in Heaven and on Earth. go therefore and disciple all nations, Baptizing/Immersing them into the Name of The FATHER, and of The SON+, and of The HOLY SPIRIT, teaching them to OBSERVE ALL THINGS WHATSOEVER I+ have COMMANDED YOU, and behold I+ AM with you always unto the end of the age.”
From that time forth the Disciples lives became an intimate walk with the Eternal GOD, YHWH ELOHIM of Armies, GOD and FATHER of our LORD JESUS CHRIST..
The Eternal HOLY SPIRIT / RUACH ha KADOSH came to dwell within the Disciples, empowering them to actually walk with the MESSIAH, strengthening them to keep HIS+ Words.
It is imperative to cultivate this intimate relationship through a loving OBEDIENCE to HIS+ Words, the Commandments HE+ gave to HIS+ Disciples for their Good and Protection, and so that they might enter into ETERNITY WITH HIM+.
” I+ WILL SEE YOU AGAIN AND YOUR HEARTS SHALL REJOICE!
To carefully keep those things JESUS/YESHUA has taught us can in NO WAY be considered “legalism”.
JESUS said, ” It is the SPIRIT that gives LIFE, the FLESH profits NOTHING; the Words that I+ speak unto you are SPIRIT and they ARE LIFE.”
It is that close and intimate UNION WITH CHRIST that comes about through a LOVING, OBEDIENT, FAITH-FILLED DISCIPLESHIP !
The Disciple does what his LORD+ has commanded out of a heart of loving GRATITUDE for what has been done for him.
Only through this continual closeness can we come to the place where we LIVE WITH HIM+ , BREATH WITH HIM+, KNOW HIS+ VOICE, and DELIGHT TO BE IN HIS+ PRESENCE.
Through the GIFT and BAPTISM/IMMERSION of the Blessed HOLY SPIRIT , we are empowered to WALK as CLOSELY to our LORD+ and Savior as HE+ WALKED and dwelt CONTINUALLY in the PRESENCE of HIS+ FATHER.
HE+ is the Master, we are the Disciples. As HE+ conducted HIMSELF+ on the earth, we are to do the same. HE+ is our EXAMPLE in ALL THINGS. So it is NOT a casual “come down front and say this prayer” situation. That is an acceptable place to start. But then, DISCIPLES follow the GUIDELINES that JESUS / YESHUA put there for us to show us the way. The Apostles affirmed everything that HE+ taught them, during their time with HIM+ and also during the 40 days after HIS+ Resurrection.
After having our sins washed away and becoming the Temple of the Eternal HOLY SPIRIT, DISCIPLESHIP is the WAY to REMAIN joined unto HIM+ . Discipleship empowers us as HIS+ followers to LIVE IN HIM+ CONTINUALLY in a CLOSE and INTIMATE UNION , OVERCOMING ALL THINGS by HIM+.
JESUS said, “I+ WILL NOT LEAVE YOU ORPHANS, I+ WILL COME TO YOU.” HE+ also said, ” IF YOU LOVE ME KEEP MY+ COMMANDMENTS.” HIS+ COMMANDMENTS ARE ALL THROUGH THE NEW COVENANT WRITINGS of The Apostles. Matthew 5,6, and 7 are some of them placed together.
It is a JOY to HIM+ when we keep HIS+ Words, HIS+ sayings, because we love HIM+, and we acknowledge by doing this that we are RETURNING HIS+ LOVE out of a grateful and yielded heart.
It is a DELIGHT to be UNITED to The SON+ of GOD in this OBEDIENT LOVE FAITH UNION.
This is Ancient and Original Christianity. The Disciples were first called Christians at Antioch by the pagans because they were united to HIM+ and walked and talked and lived as HE+ did. The pagans IDENTIFIED these early disciples as those who were like JESUS.
YOU COULD SEE IT AND IT STOOD OUT TO THE WORLD.
Heavenly FATHER, help us to be in submission and obedience to your Beloved SON+ so much so that it is apparent to the world around us … the world that needs to know HIM+ as A Living Reality.
HE+ is EXACTLY WHO+ and WHAT HE+ says HE+ is. Let us affirm to the world that it is so by obeying our Lord JESUS CHRIST in every aspect of our lives.
