An Answer From God

dreamstime_s_32603361

My heart is heavy, and the burdens of our brethren in need are heavy today.  I asked God how am I to help and what can I do a lowly servant to help.  I was discouraged.  And then the word came ringing in my ear…… Take your burdens to the cross.  Jesus will meet you there.  Will you join me today at the foot of the cross of our precious Savior?  Our burdens will be met by Jesus, and our faith and strength will be renewed.

  1. Oh without my Lord who would I have? He died for me and set me free and I am waiting to go on home to be with him and all those he has bought before me.

At the foot of his throne I cry out as my heavy burdens weigh me down. Tears flow down my wrinkled face before my Lord and King.

Up he stands and comes to me and kneels at my side. His arms he does wrap around my very being as I slump into his arms. I cannot look upon his face as my burdens melt away.

Filled with love and hope I lift my arms high into the air and rejoice, rejoice for I am at my saviors side.

Though I am here and he is there he has never left my side. His face I seek as I walk these troubled roads and when I stumble or fall he always lifts me back on high.

Oh my Lord Jesus and Father on high so much darkness do these eyes see but then your light shines from above and fills my very being. You give me strength to lift myself to continue down this very troublesome dusty road.

What can this lowly servant do for such a merciful King. Be my voice, be my arms, be my legs, be me were his words spoken softly back to me. So in my heart I set my face like flint and go to be who he says I am and can be in Him.

At his throne shall this lowly servant come every day to worship and adore and to offer unto him, my life and all that he has given unto me.

He sanctified, his justified, he made me righteous in him. He washed away my many sins with blood and water and in him I have been set free.

His work, his words, his love, mercy and grace shall fill the number of my days and when I have finished my walk in Him, His face I shall see.

Oh glory, glory, do I stand and rejoice in thee, for my savior has overcome and his Kingdom on earth shall I see. Not in my might nor glory but in His I do see, people from every tribe, nation and tongue gathered with me.

Every voice crying out Oh hallelujah, come Lord Jesus Come do we all sing.

    • Amen brother Amen. You have given us a picture of what it means to lay at the foot of the cross and lay down our burdens at His feet. We exchange our heavy burdens for a renewed body and strength to carry out our Lord’s work. Thank you much.

  4. At the Cross, at the Cross there with “you” I stand; looking heaven bound to see the Bridegroom coming our way. Oh, what a magnificent glorious day to know our King is on His Way! Look up and not down therefore be not dismayed; because our King has molded “this clay” for a time such as this! Hold my hand my Sister in Christ and together on bended knee at the Cross we pray for His strength and courage to make it “all the way!” Amen
