” The Battle Worth Fighting “

The good fight of faith is a battle any Christian will gladly fight for the Lord who has redeemed their soul so they will never see death and gain eternal life. (1 Timothy 6:12). Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

Moses who relied solely on the Lord knew the strength of his God, and all that He was capable of in fighting on behalf f His people! (Exodus 14:13,14). We today are also aware of all God has done for us, in a sense it is not our battle but the Lord who by His power works His will through His people. You see the flesh accomplishes little compared to the power of the one who made us………… The King of Judah Hez-e-ki’-ah knew just how God is able to fight his battles. (2 Chronicles 32:6-8). And he set captains of war over the people, and gathered them together to him in the street of the gate of the city, and spake comfortably to them, saying, Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that is with him: for there be more with us than with him: With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the Lord our God to help us, and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.

God has prepared for the battle of all time when His wrath will be poured out upon the nations. He has reserved in HIS STOREHOUSES A SNOW AND HAIL LIKE MAN HAS NEVER BEFORE SEEN. (Job 38:22-23) Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail, Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?…….. (Revelation 16:21).

OPEN YOUR HEART TODAY BY REPENTING……….. HE’S MERCIFUL AND FORGIVING! (Revelation 3:19-22)……. (Isaiah 1:18).

  2. The Traveller…………… Yes! I understand what your saying, just as Job who’s faith stayed strong knew no matter what happened around him that he was safe with God who gives or takes he would be alright come what may.We see so many things through spiritual eyes that sometimes its hard to see people live so far from God and believe all is well. God Bless and keep you always in His Grace my friend.

  3. Funny I have been meditating on the happenings to Job for the last week as a reminder the end for those in the Lord will be far better than the beginning. My thoughts were of what the Lord says in the word the times will become so bad and the likes of what mankind has not seen or experienced before. Whether we are around or not is a different discussion.

Sobering thoughts as are yours from Job itself.

  5. Amen Julia. “It is not by might or by power but BY MY SPIRIT says The LORD of HOSTS”. Zech. 4:6.

As our LORD+ has taught us, : The flesh profits nothing, it is the SPIRIT that gives Life”. John 6:63.

Now is certainly the time for Repentance, and that with all due haste.

    Bless you Sister.
