Brothers and Sisters in CHRIST: If this report is true, something is TERRIBLY WRONG in the Christian circles in this nation.

SPUTNIK, a bona fide news agency from Russia ( the new Russia, not the Soviet Union Communists ), reported that a Christian aid group which was allowed to supply North Korea with humanitarian aid for several years RECEIVED $15 MILLION from the U.S. government … in exchange for “intelligence. “

But a WARNING must be sounded to the Christian camp: Some Christian groups hide the NAME OF JESUS CHRIST as they establish programs of “humanitarian” aid.

An alarming number of Christian ministries of all sorts are going into nations HOSTILE towards the name of our LORD JESUS CHRIST … and giving them humanitarian aid,
… but NOT in the Name of JESUS our LORD.

We are seeing this especially in the Middle East and amongst Muslim-majority countries in Asia.

When asked to justify the denial of CHRIST, the response has been:

” We do this to soften the hearts of the people toward the Gospel.”

But… these “ministries” are NOT SHARING THE GOSPEL because they are NOT “ALLOWED” TO SPEAK ABOUT OR SHARE THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST with the recipients of that aid.

Yes, they are sharing humanitarian aid: wells for clean drinking water, school back-packs for youngsters, bags and bags of food and other supplies.
.
Even books with Old Testament stories and colored illustrations of people in Old Testament times are given out and are a great favorite among the poverty-stricken youngsters.

But they are strictly prohibited to include Christian literature which gives the GOSPEL message of Salvation through JESUS CHRIST with the wells, back-packs, or bags of donated food.

These aid groups are able to record video documentaries of the aid work they are doing… but they ARE NOT ALLOWED to mention “HIS+” Name in the video they make with the little children of that locale.

These are NOT “emergency” situations of rescuing victims of earthquakes or tsunami’s where the priority , of course, would be to pull the victims from the rubble or water or danger to save their lives. These are STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES used by these Christian agencies.

When the NAME of JESUS CHRIST is omitted or hidden ” so that we can get into that country” or “so that we do not endanger our workers there,” we must ask:

WHO
RECEIVES the GLORY ?

It would HAVE to be the “good humans” doing the “good humanitarian” aid in the name of serving HUMANITY… not The LORD JESUS CHRIST.

WHO
RECEIVES the WITNESS ?

The good “Americans” or such… NOT “those who FOLLOW JESUS CHRIST AS LORD.”

Some may be brave enough to say, “We are doing this for GOD.” And the response from the locals ? “Praise allah ! ”

Again, we would have to ask:

How then shall they call on HIM+ in WHOM+ they have NOT believed ? And how shall they BELIEVE in HIM+ of Whom+ they have NOT HEARD ? And how shall they hear WITHOUT A PREACHER ?

Are we Christians CALLED to minister to the poor and needy ~ OR ~ to share the message of Eternal Salvation ? Or … are we called to do BOTH? Is it possible and right in the eyes of The LORD to do ONE WITHOUT THE OTHER ?

Is it REALLY POSSIBLE to DO HIS+ WILL by denying HIS+ Name when we do Christian aid ? Rather, would that not be a GUIDELINE as to WHERE the Christian aid is to be distributed… or where NOT TO distribute it ?

If they do NOT WANT the salvation message , then do Followers of CHRIST NEED to distribute thousands of dollars in aid… in the name of being good “humans ? ”

May The LORD grant His+ People discernment and an ear to HEAR His+ Word … and a heart NOT to deny HIM+.

A highly classified Pentagon intelligence operation ran a network of spies in North Korea from 2004 to 2012 under the cover of a US-based Korean Christian missionary group, US media reports revealed on Monday.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Hiramine was the Colorado-based founder of a multimillion-dollar humanitarian movement and non-governmental organization called the Humanitarian International Services Group (HISG).
.
“[Evangelical Christian leader Kay Hiramine] was a Pentagon spy whose NGO [non-governmental organization] was funded through a highly classified Defense Department program,” according to a report published in The Intercept.
.
However, the group really operated under a secret Defense Department program that began in December 2004 and lasted through most of President Barack Obama’s first term, the report said.
.
“[The program] was the brainchild of a senior Defense Department intelligence official of the Bush administration, Lt. Gen. William ‘Jerry’ Boykin… an evangelical Christian [who]… settled on the ruse of the NGO as he was seeking new… ways to penetrate North Korea,” the report explained.

In 2003, Boykin received widespread criticism for publicly making militant hostile statements about Islam, the report noted.

“North Korea was the most difficult intelligence target for the United State. But Hiramine’s NGO, by offering humanitarian aid to the country’s desperate population, was able to go where others could not,” The Intercept said.

Hiramine did not respond to requests for comment and neither did any of its senior colleagues, according to the report.

The Intercept said its expose was the result of a month-long investigation during which it interviewed more than a dozen current and former military and intelligence officials, humanitarian aid workers, missionaries, US officials and former HISG staffers.
.
The use of HISG for espionage was “beyond the pale” of what the US government should be allowed to do, Sam Worthington, president of Inter Action, an association of nearly 200 American NGOs, told The Intercept.
.
“It is unacceptable that the Pentagon or any other US agency use nonprofits for intelligence gathering. It is a violation of the basic trust between the US government and its civic sector,” he said.
.
A former US military official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told The Intercept that the Defense Department provided at least $15 million to HISG over the course of the program through these revenue streams.

With all these organizations leaving out the name of Jesus this is as written in scripture for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God and so it goes that the TRUE. CHURCH of CHRIST is not doing what it is suppose to as they are showing fear of men and not of God by leaving Jesus out of these great missions they are part of….. How Sad! Sister Lois, I too have questioned why the government would even approach a TRUE Christian organization and offer then $15 million to gather “intelligence” for them?
Why would a TRUE Christian mission group even CONSIDER taking the filthy lucre from an out of order government?
Certainly NOT to do the work of CHRIST.
There is no doubt that rottenness of some sort is afoot.

Yes my point was (and everyone who knows the Huff post knows this) that if the liberal left media is covering this than there is truth that they love to use against those doing good. So many good agencies have sold out for money and glory. But our treasure and Glory comes from the Lord.

Thanks for bringing this. The Huffington Post is also carrying this. What have we become! When you start taking money from the government you are bound, gagged and a slave to them. I do remember researching aid organizations and if you partner with the government you are bound by their rules and cannot enter a disaster zone until they say so and they control what aid you give. God help us.

I have seen this taking place recently in Christian organizations going into various nations, taking relief to them, but NOT being allowed to mention The Name of JESUS so as not to offend the muslims.
Some are calling this “friendship evangelism” or other names.
Several very large organizations are getting into this method of operation obliquely, NEVER TELLING their supporters that they are going into an area agreeing to NEVER mention the Gospel’s SALVATION MESSAGE or The Name of JESUS.
I do not agree with this practice.
First and foremost we are witnesses for The SON+
of GOD. If that is taken away, what is our reason for going?
Somehow, this method is being somewhat covertly accepted by even conservative “Christian” groups that I would have trusted completely a few years ago. We stumbled upon this information firsthand while being close to those who were involved with overseas work.
For those of you who support the VERY necessary overseas work to assist our brothers and sisters who are being persecuted, throw your support behind those who do it openly in The NAME of The LORD JESUS. HIS+ Name brings Life to all who come to HIM+.

We have seen this TREND of denying the name of JESUS “in order to do humanitarian aid” FIRST-HAND; this is not simply something we have read about.
When we made phone calls and saw videos to ascertain the truth of the matter, we were APPALLED that the Name of JESUS — much less, the Salvation Message — was not shared at all with these needy peoples who are walking in DARKNESS and so badly need hope… more than they need a bag of food.
What was equally bad was that our fellow Christians JUSTIFIED going into these dark regions, all hostile to the Name of JESUS, …. without mentioning His+ Name. They were ALL COMFORTABLE WITH IT and tried to argue with us about its justification.
Now understand, we are NOT SAYING that ALL these fine Christian aid ministries are taking hand-outs from the government or being used by the Pentagon like the one in the Huffington Post / Sputnik News article.
When we read about the so-called Christian group that HAD received government monies and agreed to perform spy activities, we thought we had better issue a WARNING to Christians to BE ALERT : AGREEMENT with government authorities is certainly mandatory in order to go into hostile regions. Taking money from the government is simply the next step in the slide down-hill to DENY CHRIST BEFORE MEN.
It is written ( 2 Timothy 2:12 ) :
“If we suffer (GK: endure), we shall also reign with HIM+; if we DENY HIM+, that ONE+ will DENY US. ”
So, we would urge SERIOUS-MINDED Christians to support only those ministries who OPENLY proclaim the Name of JESUS and are willing to share the Salvation Message.

Amen. You have brought into the light what I have been feeling for some time. While I understand the need for safety and to show the love of Christ to unbelievers I do not understand the recent restrictions on sharing the gospel. I know what you mean I too have heard it first hand. Why go if you don’t share with the lost the Gospel of Christ. Missions in years past risked their lives and the lives of their families to spread the gospel. Now it seems the politically correct crowds have taken over. That is exactly why I avoid those who do this. Thanks so much for your tireless efforts.
