Melchizedek, the HIGH PRIEST of the MOST HIGH GOD, THE ELOHIM, blessing Abraham, the Servant of the MOST HIGH GOD.

Day  19 

of the 40 Days The LORD JESUS CHRIST

spent with His+ Disciples,

in His+ Glorified Body,

 AFTER HIS+ RESURRECTION !

Knowing that CHRIST

being raised from the dead

dieth no more;

Death hath no more dominion

over HIM+.

Romans 6: 9

All Things Must Be Fulfilled

which were written in the Law of Moses and in the prophets and in the Psalms concerning ME+. ( Luke 24:44 )

And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, HE+ expounded unto them in all the Scriptures the things concerning HIMSELF+ . ( Luke 24:27 )

And [ JESUS ] said unto them,

Thus it is written

and thus it behoved CHRIST to suffer

and to rise from the dead the third day.

( Luke 24: 46 )

Now we know there are prophecies foretelling of the Advent of JESUS CHRIST. But, where are the prophecies foretelling the suffering of CHRIST, hidden deeply in the OLD Covenant ?

  Where is it so written that 

CHRIST must suffer ?

We all know Isaiah 53 describes His+ Suffering.

However, let’s focus on the more HIDDEN SCRIPTURES that are not as well-known as Isaiah 53.  Starting now at the beginning of the five books of Moses, in GENESIS.

 Genesis  14:18

 And MELCHIZEDEK  King of Salem ( Peace ) brought forth 

Bread and Wine:

he was the priest of the MOST HIGH GOD.

Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; Whither the forerunner is for us entered,

even JESUS,

 made an High Priest

 for ever

after the order of MELCHIZEDEK.

Hebrews 6: 19-20

Genesis 7: 1-7

For this Melchizedek, king of Salem,

priest of the MOST HIGH GOD,

who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also

King of Salem,

which is,

King of peace;

Without father, without mother, without descent,

having neither beginning of days, 

nor end of life;

but made like unto the SON of GOD;

abideth a priest continually…

 … And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchizedek there ariseth another priest, Who+  is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but  

after the power of an endless life.

 For HE testifieth,

THOU+ art a Priest for ever

after the Order of Melchizedek.

Here we see MELCHIZEDEK, the Priest of the MOST HIGH GOD, offering BREAD AND WINE to Abraham and to Whom Abraham — and indeed , the entire line of the Levitical Priesthood — paid tithes, as Scripture informs us.

There is never a mention of SUCH a High Priest again in Scriptures  . . .

until . . .

we come to  

The LORD JESUS CHRIST ! 

Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling,  consider

the APOSTLE+ and HIGH PRIEST+

of our profession,

JESUS CHRIST.

 Hebrews 3:1

Bread and Wine were FIRST INSTITUTED as the Body and Blood of The LORD JESUS CHRIST at the Last Passover.  That is when HE+ ate with His+ disciples before going to the Cross, explaining to them: 

THIS IS MY+ BODY, broken for you. 

 THIS CUP is the cup of the NEW COVENANT,

MY+ BLOOD, which is shed for you. 

The strange incident of “MELCHIZEDEK” — Whom some say was The LORD HIMSELF+ — may be one of those Scriptures written in Genesis which Our LORD in His+ Glorified Body explained to the disciples .

Undoubtedly, 

being RAISED FROM THE DEAD, 

HE+ now had

their UNDIVIDED ATTENTION !

HE+ opened their understanding to SEE His+ suffering portrayed early, very early, in the record of the ELOHIM’S dealing with mankind.

Known unto GOD are all His works

from the beginning of the world.

Acts 15:18

And to make all men see

what is the fellowship of the mystery,

which from the beginning of the world

hath been hid in GOD, 

Who created all things 

by JESUS CHRIST:

Ephesians 3:9

I AM Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the LORD, WHO+ is, and WHO+ was, and WHO+ is to come, the ALMIGHTY.

Revelation 1:8

Remember the former things of old:

for I  AM  GOD ( EL ),

and there is none else;

I AM ELOHIM,

and there is none like ME,

Declaring the end from the beginning,

and from ancient times

the things that are not yet done,

saying,

My counsel shall stand,

and I will do all My pleasure:

Isaiah 46: 9 – 10

Glory Be to the LIVING, RESURRECTED SAVIOR+ WHO+ opens our understanding of the hidden things contained in the OLD COVENANT, showing HIMSELF+ to be the fulfillment of all prophecy ! 

Death has no more dominion over HIM+

… nor for us, eternally !

GLORY, GLORY, HALLELUJAH !  Amen .
