    • I don’t think any one of us would attack a sister or brother. But I have to disagree vehemently with your take on the Old Testament. In Isaiah God tell’s us that He makes everything known from the beginning. That said, it say’s in Revelation that Behold the mystery of God is revealed as was told through his prophets. God does nothing that He didn’t tell His prophets. All the apostles taught from the Old Testament. They didn’t have the New Testament to teach from. If we were not suppose to rely on the Old Testament than they would have told us that. Paul teaches extensively on this, no where does he say that we are to filter the Old Testament through the new. There is no teaching that says that anywhere in the Bible. If there is I would like to see it. I think we’re just going to have to agree to disagree on this one. As a watchman I have warned, and the Bible tells us that once a watchman warns the people his job is done. Their blood is off his hands. I am not an apologist as the term defines. So I don’t feel the need to defend my faith. I am more of a Berean, and if it wasn’t for the Old Testament we would be lost. But I have to tell you, your walking on thin ice with your view about the Old Testament. The entire Bible was given as divine inspiration from God for us all. Jesus refers to the Old Testament numerous times. And he never say’s since I’m here you don’t have to rely on the Old Testament anymore. I thank you for reading and commenting, as this is the way I learn and grow too. And I will keep all in my prayers.

    • Thank you jennyelaine for replying and this has been a healthy discussion. Could you please elaborate on your statement; “As I DO NOT worship the bible.”? The bible is God’s inspired Word which He made known to us thru His Prophets and the Apostles…I understand you Love and follow our Father and Jesus…I’m just saying Jesus is the Word and as you said the Exact representation of our Father in heaven. We would have the NT w/o the OT. Our Father has not done away with the OT. The Bible, all of it is His Word to us. Thank you and God bless

  3. I believe Christians in the USA and the collective church no longer have discernment concerning deception and outright lies. When the Church looks and behaves like the world there could be no other outcome but what we currently have.

  4. I found an article, that may be hard for some to read, but in response to Mr. Missler’s words I am putting this as part of my comment.

    http://www.christianandamerican.com/we-christians-must-honor-and-pray-for-barack-obama.html

    As an extension to the above article, we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God…not some more than others…we all have completely fallen short. This means we need to under gird the President and those over us, under gird means to prepare oneself for conflict of vigorous activitiy. If we think he is unfit for this office, then this means even more he needs our prayers. IF he is not a Christian and unable to pray or do spiritual warfare effectively, then he needs for us to do these things for him so things don’t get worse. Praying against him or slandering him will not make things better so as to save him or help him make different or better decisions…it will just delight the enemy and feed the enemies strength. Also, how can we slander someone at the same time we pray for them?… or do spiritual warfare on their behalf?….it will just make our ‘warfare’ devoid of any substance or power. We can never have effective prayer come out of one side of our mouth when slander is coming out the other side. It is not possible to be doing dark things ourselves and think this is the way to fight the darkness. Light and dark are against each other…they don’t mix. So, are we IN the light and act as such, or IN the dark…we each have to decide? This is why we love and pray for our enemies…because God wants us to always be doing the opposite of what they most likely will be doing…as light and dark are opposite. God wants us to be acting as Christ acted…as He (The Light) is the one to emulate.

    Proverbs 18:21 The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

    Matthew 12:36-37 The words you say will either acquit you or condemn you. I tell you that every careless word that people speak, they shall give an accounting for it in the day of judgment.

    1 Peter 2:1
    Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind.

    >>> Thank you I Am Not Ashamed… for the opportunity to comment and say what is on our minds and hearts!! (Even if they are long comments:) Bless you!!

    • Yes, I welcome any and all comments whether they are in agreement or not. I created this blog to inform, but also for everyone to have a forum of discussion. I will from time to time post controversial material, especially if it is pertinent to Biblical prophesy. I think this is pertinent to prophecy. It shows that our president is helping to push into power the very beast system spoken of in Revelation. Many people were deceived by this man, and many still are. I think a frank honest discussion of your opinion, esp. if it is done to expose evil, and not to bring false witness against a brother is good, and was what Chuck Missler was trying to point out. This man is not a christian. He is quoted as saying: “The most beautiful sound I’ve ever heard is the muslim call to prayer at sunset.” Excuse me? Ok enough of that, here are some links that you might find interesting. Interesting any way if you want to know the truth. I have the gift of discernment, and I am going to use it. 1 Corinthians 2:14 -16 “The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. The spiritual man makes judgements about all things, but he himself is not subject to any man’s judgment: “For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may insturct him? But we have the mind of Christ.” Jesus said for us to give to Cesar’s what is Cesar’s and to God what is God’s, He wanted us to be clearly separate from the world. The apostles did indeed say to pray for the leaders, so that we may have any easy time. And we are told to judge right from wrong. I am not judging sin, that is God’s job, I am one of the worst sinners redeemed by the Grace and Mercy of Christ. If anyone obama or anyone else truly wanted to know Christ, I would be right there to help and pray. I pray for God to open his and other’s eyes, so that they may be saved. I will also continue to warn about evil, although it’s a little too late, I believe. I believe it’s time to prepare now spiritually, and physically, for God’s judgement will not bypass us. Again, thanks for your comments.

    • Good Morning. I agree and understand what you are saying,jennyelaine, but as you can read in:
      Eph. 5:6, ‘Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience…’ we are not to allow our selves to be deceived!
      We are given: Hebrews 5:14
      But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.”

      Elsewhere: Ecclesiastes 8:5
      Whoso keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise man’s heart discerneth both time and judgment. (Judgement begins in the house of God:

      Peter 4: 17 “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?”

      1 Timothy 3: 15 “But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.”

      I share this for this point: we are given the Word of God to discern good from evil–but if we (knowing God’s Word) aren’t being the Wall Watchers:
      Isaiah 62:6
      I have posted watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the LORD, give yourselves no rest,

      Judgement does comes. He did not spare Israel when they rebelled against Him. And America has greatly sinned against God collectively. With a heavy heart I say this and our churches have fallen asleep at the helm. God does not show favoritism:
      Rm. 2:11 For God does not show favoritism.

      Our pulpits have fallen short in calling out “Loud” to discern between good and evil: Ezekiel 44:23
      And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.

      If, we seek and ask for discernment and the will of God-he gives and gives freely:
      1 Kings 3:11
      And God said unto him, Because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life; neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies; but hast asked for thyself understanding to discern judgment;

      If, we seek to know right from wrong to see thru God’s eyes, he provides:
      Malachi 3:18
      Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

      Matthew 16:3
      And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowering. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?

      Please do not think I am coming against you in any fashion. I am not. My main point is that we are to discern what is going on(not only in our own hearts-personal accountability) but within our churches and general surroundings collectively. On this level we are to discern the right from wrong and seek God’s counsel in the direction to pray for His will to be done….if, sadly, it ends up being judgement because America has turned her back on Him….then seek the strength, peace, direction we need to persevere during the judgement time! “We” are and will be accountable if we do not “sound” the alarm and this where (Eph. 5:6 6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.) strongly comes into play in regards to this video. I do not claim this person as my president! Yes, he has been elected into office(how honest the elections have been and media hype is another conversation) and the “people” have made know their will before God!!! How can the House of God claim to stand on His Word and elect someone (before he was elected) “made known” his “campaign” agenda for “change” and he has set free the gates of hell all that is unholy and that goes against God and His Word. One does not “profess” to be christian and then sign into “mans” law the will of the people to commit sexual immorality, kill unborn children, etc…I choose to stop there cuz list goes on and my BP will rise…..What ills me the most is the church has fallen to the “smooth” talker and allowed the enemy “deep” into the garden. So please consider: Yes I agree we are to pray for our leaders and their guidance….but if there hearts are harden and their fruit shows thereof……..what do you believe will happen now and how are we to seek our Father’s will? God bless

      Ephesians 5
      King James Version (KJV)
      5 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;

      2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

      3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;

      4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

      5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

      6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

      7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

      8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

      9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

      10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

      11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

      12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

      13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

      14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

      15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

      16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

      17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

      18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

      19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

      20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

      21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

      • Ladyin waiting — you actually can come against me, that is ok, because it does not say anything about me. I am a ‘no buts’ kind of Christian. To me, when God says something He means it…meaning in context! Christ came to fulfill everything the law required and the Prophets proclaimed. Therefore I will not read something in scripture and then say ‘but’ and then add my own opinion. I will, as I learn, make blunders as I learn and grow…however, there are some things I know for sure and I have not made a mistake in…that God is never wrong. Meaning I will take His opinion over mine anytime…as well as the opinions of others if they stray from God’s Written word, and more so from His Living Word – Jesus. As I DO NOT worship the bible. I worship God in Christ.

        Therefore, because God said this, I will go to Jesus 1st, as He is the EXACT representation of God. EXACT. We have to be very careful in how we use OT scriptures therefore…as the main purpose for the OT was to prepare us and point us to Christ. Using OT without passing it through the filter of the NT/New Covenant and the New Commndmant which because of Jesus also fulfills ALL of the law AND the Prophets…is unbiblical. I love the OT, and will with grace and with what has been fulfilled…as well as with what Christ has Himself said, use it. The OT is full of perfect examples of God’s power, God’s abilities, and His many, MANY ‘types’ of what God was getting us ready for….Christ’s coming.

        That being said, I have to say that according to the NT and Christ Himself, Christians as a whole have not been focusing on what Christ has said to focus on…and this IS pertaining to ourselves as a nation. God WILL judge us with the lack of influence we have had in this nation…because we have been set on our own agenda’s. THIS IS why our nation has not turned to God….because they have not seen Christ IN US. Sinners sin. This is what they do. They have no power to do anything else. However, we DO have a power that can turn people to Christ and therefore turn a nation in the right direction. IT IS our LACK of love and obediance that they continue to sin, not theirs. Yes, just like Christ exemplified everyday of His ministry…it is the religious and the Christians that He expected more from. Need scripture back-up?

        Yes, God will come and judge us for OUR lack…Jesus said in.Matthew 25: 31-46..and it is us that is supposed to understand this! “When the Son of man shall come in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory; 32And before Him shall be gathered all nations; and He shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats. 33And He shall set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. 34Then shall the King say unto them on His right hand, Come, ye blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; 35For I was hungry {an hungred}, and ye gave Me food {meat}; I was thirsty, and ye gave Me drink; I was a stranger, and ye took Me in; 36Naked, and ye clothed Me; I was sick, and ye visited Me; I was in prison, and ye came unto Me. 37Then shall the righteous answer Him, saying, Lord, when saw we Thee hungry {an hungred}, and fed Thee? or thirsty, and gave Thee drink? 38When saw we Thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto Thee? 40And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these My brethren, ye have done it unto Me. 41Then shall He say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from Me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels; 42For I was hungry {an hungred}, and ye gave Me no food {meat}; I was thirsty, and ye gave Me no drink; 43I was a stranger, and ye took Me not in; naked, and ye clothed Me not; sick, and in prison, and ye visited Me not. 44Then shall they also answer Him, saying, Lord, when saw we Thee hungry {an hungred}, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto Thee? 45Then shall He answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to Me. 46And these shall go away into everlasting punishment; but the righteous into life eternal.”

        BUT (ok I used it) we have chosen to do things our way, yes using scripture to try and back up our actions, however this is God’s way of dealing with things. He 1st wants our hearts to be willing to serve and to love unselfishly as Christ would…this is including our pocketbooks….then, #2, when we finally decide to do this it draws people to Himself and then things begin to change. Our nation is in the state it is in because of our disobediance, not because of sinners.
